The Silent grief of my heart

It is one of the right of a child to live a happy life. To be able to enjoy his childhood. At the age of 4-5 my parents had a place to sell at the Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran City of Bohol in Philippines . They are registered vendor of Bus Terminal Vendor Association. Meaning we have our own post (pillar of the bus terminal) where we could display our products. It was only my parents who usually do the business in the city and would just visit us in our town five hours away to bring the food stocks. And everytime they visit us it is also my time to beg them if I could go with them. And usually most of the time they would allow me to go with them. While my 3 elder siblings and 3 younger siblings were left at home. Since I'm the only child with them in the city, they would buy me almost everything that I could ask for. And this made me a spoiled brat. But sooner, when luck seems to favor my parents we already transferred to the City. And at that time, I already had my younger sisters as my competitor for attention. They seemed to behave and not asking anything but I keep on asking what I wanted. The family seemed to be happy but not at all times because there are times when my father get drunk he would violently hit mother. It seldom happened though till it happened regularly. But what I cherished the most in these years is that it was the time that My family though sometimes parents quarrel we still have time to go to church every Sunday. This was the time that I would always wish to happen again
