Cassidy’s POV
The first thing Eric did was to drop Tina off at his workplace then drive them somewhere else. She was confused for a second when he did not act as though he was giving her a spot at his company and knowing he would not speak to her or respond to any questions she asked, she chose silence and leaned against her seat.
It was twenty minutes later and he pulled into a parking spot in front of a huge business building. As he turned off the car, she took off her seat belt and opened the door. She stepped out and felt small at the sight of the building. Looking up at it made her feel as if it would fall on her.
“Let’s go,” he said and started to walk away from her.
