The signs of a new day dawned on her body, forcing her awake. She looked around the area in her line of vision with sleep heavy in her eyes. She blinked the sleep away and exhaled, then yawned softly. The weight of sleep was slowly seeping away, making her feel a little energetic but still a little weak from the blood she had lost and fatigue she was feeling. Her head was a bit lightheaded as she repositioned her head to turn the other way.
A light weight around her abdomen made her furrow her eyebrows. She glanced down at her body and saw a muscular arm. Her eyes glided up the arm and toward her right side.
