Cassidy’s POV
She still could not believe what she was reading. The ride to the center was a silent one as they were both trying to get a grip of what Cupid’s Curse had sent to them. Cassidy had a lot going on in her head, and she had a feeling Eric was going through the same thing. She did not want this, not now that she was starting to be with Eric for real, to feel loved and even more.
“Are you okay?” Eric asked and she swallowed.
She wanted to look at him but the fear of her emotions being visible in her eyes held her back from doing so. She only nodded and looked at the window, eyeing the cars passing by. She took a deep breath and sighed. How was she going to get past this?
