"We can forgive mistakes but not sins. It requires a kind heart to forgive but a strong heart to accept." 5 Years later Present Day "Are you even listening to me, Ori?" James screamed through the phone. Orchid had to remove the phone from her ear before he bursted her eardrum. "I can hear just fine. You don't need to scream Jamie." Orchid sighed as she replied. She was so engrossed in her designs, she didn't focus on Jamie's babbling. Orchid has a big competition going around. The materials for her dresses had arrived a few days earlier. Her manager James practically nagging her for weeks to come to her boutique. He was more concerned than her about the competition. "I won't have screamed if you had listen to me. Forget it. Just come to your boutique by today." Just like that James hung up the call, not bothering to hear any excuse. Orchid shaked her head as she focused on her work once again. Orchid knew, James genuinely cared about her, he was probably one of the few people who loved her unconditionally. And she respectd him a lot. Orchid owned a dress brand called "Rosalana". Her dresses were famous for representing various personalities of men and women from gentle to bold. She worked hard for her brand to be in the position it is now.. Her designs were ruling worldwide. She was thankful for that. At least she got to fulfil one of her dreams. The spring season has just started. The trace of winter is still lingering on the air. The faint sound of the waterfall along with the sweet chirping of birds, could be hear from her cottage. A sudden breeze washed over her bench, scattering her design papers. "s**t" Orchid bend down to collect them. She was still in her pajamas, her hair was tied into a messy bun. Some loose hairs were hanging leisurely, softly touching her bare shoulder. The wind, gently playing with them, giving her bare face a soft natural glow. Her beauty complements the beauty of nature.. Her big doe eyes were focused on her paperboard looking at her designs without any care of the world. Orchid loved here, sitting on the bench under the big oak tree in her backyard doing what she loves the most. She preferred it this way, peaceful and relaxing, spending time at home. It was her daily routine now after graduation. Coming to her backyard and working on designs and dresses, especially in the morning. Sometimes going to her boutique or Olivia, her bestie's house. She thought of visiting the boutique in the afternoon. She needed to go to Olivia's house first. They needed to organize Zain's birthday party. Orchid had many plans, especially knowing this time would be very important for her. She couldn't miss it. Orchid POV: I arranged the design papers in my study room. I was about to enter my washroom, my phone rings. It might be Oli. This girl! So impatient. I told her I would be there at lunchtime. Sighing, I picked it up but it was Oli's grandma. Why was she calling me at this time? Shouldn't she be at school with Zain?. " Hello, Granny. Is everything alright? Are you..." Granny cut me in before I could finish. " Lana, Lana, please c-come to the RR hospital. Oli is having a panic attack I don't know what to do. We are in an ambulance,I can't ...I can't help..." Granny's fearful voice caught me off guard. She sounded so weak and desperate. I didn't wait for her explanation, took my key and rushed to my car. "Granny relax please, I am on my way. Everything will be fine. Oli gonna be just fine trust me. Take a deep breath Okay. I am coming right away. I am going to hang up and inform Dr. Robert. He will be there within just five minutes. I need you to stay strong for her, Granny. Do you understand? " "Yes" Granny responded weakly. Ending the call, I called Dr. Robert, He picked it up in one go. " Dr. Robert it's me Orchid. Olivia is coming to your hospital. Something happened and she is having a panic attack. Please can you take care of it. I will be there in 45 mins. Yes... I don't know.. Okay.. Thank you." I hung up and pressed the gas pedal. My cottage was far away from the city, in the middle of forest. So I drove the car like crazy. Breaking all the speed limits. I didn't care, I just needed to be there with her. Call me insane but she was too precious to me. I couldn't think of anything else right now. But I didn't understand, She was perfectly fine last night. Then what just happened in these few hours that she got a panic attack. It's been years, she has had any. Then why suddenly. My frown depended thinking about her. She couldn't have flashbacks of her trauma once again, right? She has been through it. She was recovering just fine. I didn't want to think about it anymore. It could probably a mild attack. Yes ... She would be fine, perfectly fine. I arrived at the hospital within 40 minutes. This was the fastest I had ever driven. It took a minimum of 1 and half hours to enter the city from my house. So you could only imagine how crazy I was just now. Don't judge me I never was a reckless driver. I didn't even park the car, rushed to the reception asking for Oli's cabin. By the time I entered her cabin, I was panting so hard that I thought I was gonna faint. I saw granny talking with Dr. Robert. I calmed my racing heart. My eyes landed on Oli's sleeping face. She looked so peaceful. Granny pulled me into a tight hug seeing me. I peeled my eyes from Oli's face. "Lana you came. Look what happened to our sweet Oli". Granny broke down in my arms. “Ssshh.. granny. Calm down.. Our Oli is so strong. She is going to be alright." I hugged her back, soothing her back. Granny sobbed hard. I made her sit on the bench and tried to calm her down. "How is she, Dr. Robert?" I asked as Granny calm down a bit. "She is sleeping now. I gave her some medicine. It will help her to reduce the pain and the swallowing of her leg should be numb a bit in a few hours. It isn't broken just fractured. And the bruises will heal in a few weeks" Dr Robert explained everything but I was a bit of confused. "What are you saying, Dr. Robert? Wasn't she having a panic attack then how did she fracture her leg?... Granny?" I looked at Grandma but she avoided my eyes and cried harder. She was definitely hiding something. "Yes she had but..." Dr. Robert hesitated and looked at Granny too, debating what to say. What was the hell happened here? I went to Oli's bed, and removed the quilt from her body. Why didn't I notice it earlier? Multiple bruises on her arms and neck, faint red fringer marks on her right cheek. There was a small cut on her lip, probably from a slap. Her left leg was plastered, neatly placed on a pillow. My face hardened. I was clinching my fist so hard that it turned white. But the more I saw Oli the more angry I got. It would not take an i***t to understand, what happened to her. "Who did this?...Granny." I asked Granny with gritted teeth. My voice was clear and loud. It couldn't be what I was thinking. It just couldn't. Our sweet Oli. I faced Granny. She just cried more. But I needed the name. "Who is it, Granny?" I looked straight into her eyes. She trembled seeing me like this but I didn't care. She needed to speak up. "I think you should report the cops." Dr. Robert suggested and I lost it. "Granny, What the hell he is talking about." I nearly yelled, I didn't mean to but all of these making my blood boiled. “I -I... She was ...." Granny couldn't bring herself to say anything just cried more. It angered me more. Not at Granny but the cause behind it. "Someone tried to molest her." Dr. Robert replied when granny didn't say anything. "Who..."
