Chapter 11 Bodyguard

Life doesn't always give you a second chance. You should grab it when you have the opportunity. You never know,when it becomes too late.

Others POV:

Soft sun rays fell on Olivia's face, making her stir in sleep. Olivia blinked few times to adjust in the light.

She tried to block the rays with her hand but realized someone was holding it. Olivia instantly got nervous. Her breathing quicken. All the events from yesterday started to play on her head.

How Rob came with his bodyguards and dragged Olivia toward her office room. How he slapped her back when Olivia slapped him.

How he locked the room and make sure no one could help her.

He was forcefully trying to kiss her, shoving her on the ground, stepping on her leg crushing it. Then he was trying to peel her clothes.

Olivia couldn't breathe. She moved back and forth, hoping to free from Rob's hold. Throwing her hands and legs.

"Please l-leave me, please." Olivia begged, going further away from him.

"Oli, Oli. Come down. You are safe" Orchid tried to call her out from her panic attack but Olivia only sunk more in her bed.

Orchid didn't know when she fell asleep. She was startled by Olivia's crying. Then she noticed Olivia again having panic attack.

Orchid called Olivia's name but it seemed like she was in a daze.

Orchid hugged Olivia forcefully as she desperately pushed her away.

"No, s-stay away from me. Leave me" Olivia cried in agony. It made Orchid angered more on Rob.

"Shhhh, It's me Orchid. You are safe. Please breath Oli. Breath." Orchid hugged Olivia and rubbed her back.

"O-ori" Olivia whispered hoarsely. Her body relaxed a bit recognizing Orchid but her breathing was still shallow.

"Yes me, Orchid. Breathe. You are safe. You are my strong Oli. You're fine. Don't be scared, I am here." Orchid continuously whispered gently, rubbing her back.

"You are here" Olivia still in shocked. She hugged Orchid like life depended on her. Tears gathered in her eyes more.

"Yes I am here. Don't be scared. You are safe." Orchid kept reassuring Olivia. It made Olivia cry more.

She finally poured all her emotions. She doesn't understand why the world is so cruel to her.

After long time Olivia calmed down. She let go of Orchid. She raised her head to look at Orchid. Orchid wiped the tears softly.

"W -water". Olivia's voice cracked from all the crying. Her throat was so dry and itchy.

Orchid immediately gave her a glass of water. " Here. Take a small sip , drink slowly." Orchid drew circle on her back to ease her body.

Olivia took a few sips from the glass then gave it back. Orchid put it back. Olivia was feeling much better now.

"How are you feeling now ? Wait let me call the doctor.." Orchid hurried to call for Dr. Robert.

"I am fine, just some mild pain that's all. Did you stay here last night?" Oli replied not wanting to have all the attention to her but Orchid informed anyway.

"Yes, I have send Granny home last night. She was very tired, needed some rest. So I thought it would be better if she went home and rested."

Orchid helped Olivia to sit in bed comfortably. She placed some pillows behind her back and below her leg.

"Thank you.... Ori?."

"You don't have to thank me, Oli." Orchid responded, arranging the bed.

"I - I was so s- scared." Olivia teared up.

She was overwhelmed by the incident. Orchid immediately sat by her side.

"Hey.. hey.. look at me. Don't you dare to cry for that pathetic animal. You're safe now, Oli. You have nothing to scared of.

No one will hurt you EVER. I'll make sure of it. Do you have faith on me?"

Olivia burst into tears. There was no doubt, she trusted Orchid. It's just that fate always have torment her.

Orchid knew what Olivia was thinking. She pulled her into a hug, careful to not hurt her.

“ Sshhh... my sweet pie. Everything is fine now, you are my brave sister, right. You don't have to think about that bastard. He'll never bother you again." Orchid wiped off the tears that freely falling.

"Hey look at me." She wanted Olivia to be strong, more than her.

Orchid raised Olivia's head.

"Listen, No one will ever dare to touch or hurt you again and I mean it." Orchid declared looking straight at her eyes, making her shiver.

"Of course, Except from some handsome dude, you want to be touched by." Orchid added, earning a deadly stare from Olivia.

"Ori..." Oli lightly hit Orchid.

Her pale cheeks turned bright red. A muffle laugh escaped from Orchid's lips.

"Oww, my sweet pie is shy, huh" Orchid teased, pulling Oli's cheeks. Orchid can do anything for her friend, even if it's meant to c***k some jokes which she hates the most.

Oli hit Orchid's hand but end up laughing with her. They hugged each other. This time in content.

" Looks like you two are having a good time". Dr. Robert walked in along with a nurse.

" Good morning, Dr Robert" Orchid greeted first.

"Good morning, Orchid" He greeted her back with a smile, and proceeded to check Olivia.

" Good morning, Olivia, how are you feeling,"

"Morning, Doctor. My body feels sore and my leg hurts a little bit." Olivia answered truthfully. This is what Orchid loved about Olivia most. Her transparency.

"It's understandable Olivia, you need some rest then you will be fine and your leg will heal in a couple of weeks." Robert responded carefully inspecting Olivia.

"You can take her home Orchid but have to come every week to check her leg." Orchid nodded her head in agreement.

"Ok then, you guys arrange things here, I'll go, get the discharge paper ready then you can go home." Dr Robert informed.

Orchid walked him out."Thank you, Dr Robert."

"It's my job, Orchid. Don't worry. Olivia is a strong girl. She will be perfectly alright. One more thing please visit my chamber before leaving." Dr. Robert said before leaving.

Orchid looked at the retreating figure of Dr. Robert until he was out of side. Sighing, Orchid went back.

The nurse already packed Olivia's things and helped her to change the clothes. Orchid was waiting for them in the reception. She completed the paperwork, just then Oli came with a nurse in a wheelchair.

Orchid took over the wheelchair. "All set, let's go then". Orchid said to Olivia but she wasn't looking at her.

"Who are they?" Oli asked eyeing the two women who were standing beside Orchid.

Orchid being Orchid, she acted all normal. "They are your new friends.They will be with you from now on. And don't worry they will make sure not to leave you alone. If you need anything just tell them." Orchid simply stated.

"Ori, don't play with me." Olivia fired back. She knew very well, who were they. What they were doing here. But still it's insane.

"Fine. They are your bodyguards. Happy. Let's go now." Orchid said pushing the wheelchair which only to stop by Olivia.

"WHAT no way" Olivia was horrified. This girl will make her crazy one day.

"Orchid I don't need them, it's not even necessary. Please try to..." Olivia hurried to decline but Orchid stopped her.

"No, I am not listening anything, your protection is most important so I am not having any excuses.I should have done this before. Now go with them and wait in the car , I will go and meet Dr. Robert then join you."Orchid strictly instructed.

"But, Lana , listen...." Olivia knew how stubborn Orchid could be but still tried only to shut down quickly.

"No buts. go, you take her to the car" Orchid dismissed them and left. Olivia reluctantly goes with them.
