Others POV " Stay strong little one. The chopper would be here in a few minutes. You will be fine." Lorenzo said taking Orchid's hand onto his. He looked at her fragile form. Her fever getting high again. She was shivering mess. Now Lorenzo was scared. He shouldn't have waited for Waver. He hasn't arrived yet. "I couldn't get through him. I am trying. And this network." Austin said anxiously. He was constantly calling Waver. His phone was showing switched off. "Where is Mark? Asked him how much time it would take the chopper to come." Lorenzo asked. He was getting impatient. Just then the door bust open and Waver came in along with Mark. “It's merely 9 o'clock in the morning, and I endured an additional 3 hours of surgery last night, dude." Waver grumbled as soon as he entered the room. Waver's gaze sought out for Austin. Austin turned around, immediately running to him. "Where the hell were you? And why your phone is switch off. I told you to come ASAP. It's an emergency. " Worried plastered on Austin's face. "Forget it just hurry up and treat Kiddo." Austin eagerly dragged him towards the bed. Waver look at him like he grown two head. "Do you have any idea how difficult it was for me to find this place. I couldn't even use the GPS, there is no net access here . And Who is this Kiddo? Please don't tell me you put some innocent lady through suffering, only to now seek my medical aid." Waver quipped sarcastically ignoring Austin's hard look. They were childhood friends, so it was natural for them to bark at each other. Mark's heart skipped a bit. Dr. Waver was always so talkative. Mark knew exactly how important Orchid for both of his bosses. He was afraid that Dr. Waver might lose his head today. Lorenzo wouldn't tolerate disrespect for his queen. "Shut the f**k up.Treat her first. If she does not wake up in a few hours. You can goodbye your hands." Lorenzo's deep voice boomed in the somber room, causing Waver to flinch. Waver snapped his head so sharply, he nearly broke his neck . Lorenzo didn't care Waver had sleep or not or have any trouble coming here. He was worried sick for Orchid. She had been unconscious for so long. He was already regretting not taking her hospital. He told Mark to arrange a chopper. But it would take some time. And this bastard here was joking around . Waver didn't know that Lorenzo was also here. He was so busy at complaining that forgot to pay attention to his surrounding. He nearly stopped breathing. Only if he knew. He would seal his mouth right away. Actually he was usually very easy going but could be a headache when it came to business and his so called sleep. Austin didn't give him any explanation over the phone, simply instructed him to come to this desolate location. Waver had to drive there himself, so he visibly vexed. "Shoot, why didn't I notice him earlier. Perhaps I should learn to hold my tongue" Waver whispered under his breath. If he was not a childhood friend of Austin and Lorenzo, they would have served his head in a platter. Waver's father was an alliance of the mafia king, So he was well aware of the violence in this world but Waver always preferred not to take it on his own hand. That's why he chose to become a doctor. At least he could save some people. "Can you stop nagging and treat Kiddo?" Austin interjected too clearly irritated. If it was another time, he wouldn't bother with Waver nonsense but he was not in the state of his chattering. Waver shallowed audibly. He finally focused on the girl in the bed. He didn't dare to delay anymore. He had been a good friend of theirs for over 2 decades. He never saw them care about anyone like this let alone for a girl. Waver badly wanted to ask who this mysterious woman was but forced himself to not. When he sat down to examine Orchid , he thought he would meet with some bimbo or so. But to his wonder, he witnessed the most angelic face he has ever encountered. The pretty lady won't be over 18 years old. She was shrouded in blankets, shaking vigorously, eyes were closed tightly, her long thick eyelashes cast a shadow under her eyelids, her nose is bloody red which was ready for bleeding, her skin was pale as snow. Seeing her in deadly condition, he became serious, his childish behaviour was long gone. Without delaying Waver proceeded to examine Orchid thoroughly. Lorenzo rose from the bed to give him ample space. But never left her side. "She has an infection on her hand, which could be the reason for her high fever. I am giving her some antidote and an injection. Her fever should abate within hours." Waver said professionally and continued to explain. "She is very weak so probably not wake up for a few hours even if the fever comes down. It will be better if she takes a full bed rest for a few days. Give her some light soup when she wakes up then these pills. Also ensure that her hand remains dry and is not further infected. I am giving an ointment for daily application," Waver advised rising up then handing the pills to Austin. He was not so strong enough to meet with Lorenzo's hard stare. It was already difficult for him to treat the young lady under his murderous glare. To his dismay, Lorenzo took the medicine. "She has been unconscious for so long. Are you sure the fever is the sole cause?" Lorenzo inquired, prompting a look of surprise and mild annoyance from Waver. "If you lack faith in my expertise, why summon me here in the first place?" Waver thought to retort, but answered otherwise. "Do not need to fret. She will be fine by tomorrow. You can trust me. It probably she got a cold and the infection made it worse. I gave her the injection, it will reduce her high fever but it will take some time to recover fully." It was not that Lorenzo didn't trust Waver, he was just too concerned about his wife . "Ok then you go and sit in the living room." Only then Austin could relax a bit. Waver couldn't wait to leave. He knew their Dark King's nature, Austin wouldn't have called him in the first place if they didn't trust his ability. "Mark, fence me my laptop and cancel all the meetings I have today. I am not going to the office. Make sure you handle everything and do not need to inform dad about this , I will inform him myself." Lorenzo ordered Mark not bothering to deal with Waver anymore. He sat down beside Orchid. Austin also sat beside them for a few minutes. Orchid stopped shivering. Her fever cooling down slowly. "I'll go and make some soup for Kiddo." Austin said kissing Orchid's temple. He didn't want to make her wait when she wakes up. He wanted to give her the best treatment she needed. Lorenzo swiftly nodded. He made sure to tuck Orchid into the blanket. He gently wiped the sweat from her body. ...... "Wifey, do you have any idea how much heartache you are giving me right now". Lorenzo's heart swollen with pain seeing her in this state. He gently removed some hair from Orchid's face. Orchid has no clue how important she became for him. It was not just attraction or obsession, he loved her purely even before he could realized it. "Get well soon, wifey. I have a surprise for you" Seeing it would take time Orchid to wake up, he sighed deeply. He leaned to kiss Orchid's temple. Mark came with Lorenzo's laptop. "Boss?" "Leave it on the table." Lorenzo said. "Yes boss " Meanwhile in the kitchen: "So tell me who is that little fairy ?" Waver asked Austin while savoring an apple. He was sitting on the kitchen bar leisurely. Austin was slicing vegetables near him to make some soup. Orchid's kitchen was quite big, she renovated it a few weeks ago as a self gift for her graduation . "She is my little sister ." Austin answered straight before Waver mind go wild. "Like a real one .You are joking right , it can't be true". Waver couldn't believe it. Austin had a sister and he didn't know. How was this possible! He might be kidding, so he laughed it off. But seeing Austin deadly glare, his laughter died. "Oh f**k, so you are saying that you really have a sister. And ...no one knows about her. s**t man, is this a secret house of yours where she is living all these years. I mean I have seen some pictures of her with some oldie in the living room . Wait, so she is your little sister .Then why is Mr. Junior King so possessive about her. Am I missing something? Tell me! Tell me?" Waver got down from the bar and nudged Austin playfully. He had known him for ages. How did he not know that Austin had a sister. He always keen for gossip. How could he miss this opportunity. "The only thing you are missing is this knife on your throat. Do you want it?" Austin became annoyed. He angrily pointed the knife towards him. He surely would loved to torture him just to seek for relax. "Hey dude, cool down. I am just asking. There's no need to be violent." Waver rose his hands up in surrender. It was only having fun. Why he was so angry? Seems like it's not the best time for gossip, he thought. Austin continued to prepare the soup ignoring Waver completely. Waver also didn't ask any more questions. He quietly helped Austin to prepare the soup...
