Damien Black sat in his dimly lit office, staring blankly at his computer screen. He had everything he could possibly want, but there was one thing missing. Revenge. Revenge against the man who caused the death of his beloved family. Federico Rossi, a wealthy Italian businessman, had caused the car accident that had taken everything from Damien. Damien tried getting closer to Federico to gain his trust and know his weakness which he was able to know and he succeeded. Years later, Damien finally found his chance. He discovered that Federico had a daughter, Isabella, who was suitable for marriage. Damien saw this as the perfect opportunity to get his revenge. He made a deal with Federico, promising to marry Isabella in exchange for a business deal that would benefit them both.Damien after knowing fully well that he had gained Federico’s trust he did not hesitate to make his intentions of marrying Isabella known to Federico which Federico accepted and the fate of the wedding was set and the preparations started that instant. Isabella on hearing the news of her arranged marriage from her dad she was shocked, disappointed, and angry cause she had to sacrifice her dreams for this but she had no option cause the preparation had started and the deal had been made. Isabella loves her dad so much that she thought of her dad’s company and the benefit they would gain from the union. From the first instant Isabella sets her eye on Damien she falls for him. He was the perfect description of the man she had always dreamt of, he had the voice, the structure and all that it takes. After Isabella met with her fiancé she dreams about him and smiles at herself anytime she does and that also helped her in making her decision but she kept how she felt to herself thinking she does not want to push things. Isabella in her room, cold and unsure, stood by the window in her elegant white wedding gown, heard footsteps approaching her and then heard her dad’s voice who came to check up on her daughter. Federico chatted with his daughter for some time, hugged and kissed her forehead, congratulated her and left the room. Damien paced around his office, his heart racing with anticipation. The day of the wedding had arrived, and he was moments away from putting his plan into action. As he arrived at the ceremony, he spotted Isabella in her stunning white gown, her beauty only fueling his determination. But as the ceremony began, Damien felt a twinge of doubt. Was he really willing to go through with this? Was revenge truly worth sacrificing his own happiness? He shook his head, pushing the thoughts aside. He had come too far to back out now. Then, Damien followed Federico wherever he went, spying on him not letting him know. But Damien never knew Federico was aware of his every move and actually played along. Federico went to the bar at the reception and asked the bartender to serve everyone a glass of champagne to everyone that he wanted to make a toast to the newly wedded couple. The bartender did as he was told. Federico asked for two glasses of champagne and headed straight for Damien and offered him a glass of champagne, Damien collected the champagne reluctantly and tried not to be suspicious, Federico leaned towards Damien and whispered a word of threat to his ear. Damien was silent, angry and full of fury. Federico smirked at him and left, Damien tried smiling to cover up his anger. Then, Isabella took Damien's hand, leading him to the dance floor. As they swayed to the music, she whispered in his ear, "I know why you're here. But don't worry, I won't let my father hurt you." Damien froze, staring at her in shock. How could she know? And why was she being so kind to him? He felt a pang of guilt, realizing he had dragged an innocent woman into his vengeful scheme. Suddenly, a loud crash shattered the moment. Damien turned to see Federico, his face twisted in rage, storming towards them. He knew then that his revenge had come at a higher cost than he could have ever imagined. Federico lunged at Damien, but Isabella stepped in front of him, taking the brunt of the attack. Damien watched in horror as she fell to the ground, unconscious. Fueled by anger and desperation, Damien fought back against Federico with all his might. He managed to overpower him and had him pinned to the ground when he heard the sirens of approaching police cars. As the officers rushed in, Damien knew he was done for. He had let his thirst for revenge consume him, and now he would pay the ultimate price. But as the officers grabbed him, he caught a glimpse of Isabella being loaded into an ambulance. He knew then that he had to make things right, no matter the cost. With a newfound determination, Damien vowed to make amends for his actions and to ensure that Isabella would be safe from harm. But with his future now uncertain, he couldn't help but wonder if the cost of his revenge had been too high.
