One year later... [Lorie] “Any news about your niece, hmm?” Carlos asked while standing at the balcony with his cigarette. “I never heard of her since the day she told me she was sick,” I answered and of course it was only a lie. “Tsk. Where she would be right now? I already found her and she is gone again,” he said madly. Carlos have been looking for Christmas and there is no day that he didn't ask me about her. He gives me a hundred times of question in a day like as if I care. His too much obsess with her to the point when we are having s*x instead of calling my name he is calling her name. What the f**k is wrong with this man? Before Christmas left here in Orlando, she come to my old house and thank God I am not with Carlos that moment. That's why he didn't know and I don't have neither a plan to tell him. My niece is with his prince charming, Duke Grey the day they came to my house. They told me that they are going to move at Jacksonville and ask me to go with them but of course I refuse. I already have lots of money so why would I leave here? Besides, Carlos is here so I will stay. Flashback... Ding dong! Ding dong! “Wait a minute!” I shouted while heading downstairs. It must be the men that I asked to help me to move my things here. I am now going to live in an exclusive condominium unit with the richest people here in Orlando. And speaking of the richest people, the reason why I bought a unit is because Carlos is also living there. It's kind of we are meant to be. Hahaha! Ding dong! Ding dong! “Could you please stop pressing the doorbell!” I yelled as I opened the door and I was stunned seeing Christmas and her prince charming outside of my house. “Oh, Christmas, you are here. I didn't expected that you are going to visit me here with Mr–” “I am Duke Grey, Auntie,” he introduced himself. I just gave him a smile and face back to my niece. “So, what are you doing here?” I asked, looking at my watch because Carlos told me that he will come to see me today here in my house. “Are you not going to let us in first, Auntie?” Christmas asked. “No–I mean if it's not important you can say it here. I-I am going to leave the house now, yea! The house is pretty messy right now. I feel embarrass if this man will see the mess inside.” “It's okay with me, aun–” “No! Let's just do the conversation here!” I cut him off and smiled widely. “You are weird, Auntie,” Christmas said. I chuckled. “I'm not, Christmas. So, what is it do you want, hmm?” “Ahm, we came here because I'm going to move with Duke at Jacksonville–” “Oh, that's great! When are you planning to leave?” “Tomorrow before the sunrise,” Duke answered my question. “You can come with us, Auntie,” Christmas said. “I am sorry, Christmas.” I held her hands. “But I can't leave my laundry shop and I hope you understand.” I lied because I already found a buyer to my laundry shop. Yea, I'm going to sell it. I don't want to handle that anymore. I'm already rich and thanks to Carlos! “I understand, Auntie,” she said. “Why are you going to move at Jacksonville with him anyway?” I arched my brow and landed my eyes on them both. Duke suddenly intertwined their hand in front of me and I think I already had an idea, hmm. “I'm going to marry her that's why she is going to move with me there.” He took the answer of my question that made me surprised. “Congratulation the both of you! I don't know what to say. Hahaha!” “It's okay, Auntie and thank you,” my niece said, “I hope you can go at our wedding in Jacksonville.” “I'll see to it if I can attend at your wedding,” I said even I don't have any plan to attend, “Is that what you came here, hmm?” “Ahm, yes, Auntie,” Christmas answered. “Okay then you may two go now because I have to do something today. I'm busy right now to entertain the both of you,” I lied, “Congratulation again and have a safe trip to Jacksonville bye!” before they could talk I already shut the door close. “Your aunt is a little bit of weird,” Duke said outside. “Maybe she is just really busy today,” Christmas said. End of flashback... “Babe, come back here in bed,” I called him because it's still 4:00 a.m. and as far as I remember he doesn't have any plan today. “I'm already awaked and I don't want to sleep anymore,” he said coldly. “But at least stay with me here, please?” I said using my sexiest tone. “Tsk. Fine,” he replied seems he doesn't have any choice. I watched him walking towards me and he threw his cigarette first in the trashcan before getting in the bed. He is just wearing only a black boxer that covering the thing I want to see in him. I slowly came closer to him, rubbing my legs on his c**k. “I'm not in the mood, Lorie,” he said coldly, staring at the ceiling. “That is why I'm putting you in the mood, Babe,” I said still continuing what I am doing, “What are you thinking, hmm? Don't over think it too much. It will make you drown.” I chuckled. “It's out of your business and please stop what you are doing before I get annoy!” he yelled silently and faced me, “Why are you still here anyway?” he asked, arching his brow. I glared at him and took of my leg on his top. “Because you need me, asshole! You won't get through the night without me!” He laughed sarcastically. “I need you? No, Babe, you are the one who needs me here. I can go out and pick some bunch of women to f**k off.” “I can't believe you. I can't believe you that you are saying it in front of me!” “I can say what I want, Lorie and if it's a problem to you, you may leave now.” Ring! Ring! Before I could reply at him, his phone suddenly ring at the table beside him. He signalled me to shut up and instead making an argument on him, I headed at the bathroom naked. Let see if you really don't need me. I know you know I am the only one who can help you to get close of my dearest niece. Let see who will come and ask for my help. [Carlos] “Hello, Luis,” I started as I answered his call, “Why did you call?” “Remember you asked me to search on someone? If I'm not mistaken it is three months from now that you asked me,” he replied. As I heard what he just said, I quickly postured my self straight here in the bed where I am sitting. “Tell me what you got.” “It's better if you will see me here at the auto shop. I am free today and we can talk about it as you got here.” “Okay, I'll be there at 9:00 in exact,” I said and ended the call. “I'm going now,” Lorie said as she goes out in the bathroom and left me here without facing me. I just shrugged it off her actions and start fixing myself because I have an important things to do than thinking that b***h. I hope that Luis got the information that I want and once I found her again, I will never let her go. Whoever gets my way will going to face death in my bare hands. She is only mine and mine only! Eight years earlier... I was too young that moment when I met Ms. Peterson. It seems like a movie as our selves meet each other. “Bro, you should stop skipping classes,” Luis said while we are heading in our school, “Your grades are worst than hell, Bro! If I was you, my Dad will probably shoot me to head for having those failing grades.” I laughed. “You are lucky because you had parents who are taking care of you unlike me. No one will care if got those failing grades as if I care. Hahaha!” “Tsk. What do you think of me then? I care for you, Bro!” “Eww, you should stop that. You sounds gross!” Blag! “Damn it!” I cussed out when a man suddenly bumped me. “Help! My bag! He took my bag!” shouted of a girl not far away from us. I looked back where the man run and I just found myself chasing him. I had these two reason why I am chasing him; first, I want to punch his face for bumping me and second, to bring back the back of that beautiful lady! “Hey come back here!” I shouted, pushing away all the people who is blocking my way to him. I double my speed because he was too fast and I might lose him. “Bring the bag idi–” Blag! I automatically stopped on my feet when a motorcycle accidentally smashed him. The thief was really an i***t because he still keeps running even he already reached at the middle of the road. I took it an advantage to take the bag and before I left him, I kick his face. “My bag!” shouted of the familiar voice at my back. I turned around and I saw her walking fast towards me together with the two officers. “H-hi here is your–” “Is this the man who took your bag, Ms. Peterson?” the officer at her right side asked, looking at the bag that I am holding. “No! He is not. That man is the thief of my bag!” she pointed where the thief fell as the motorcycle bumped him. Before the officers could talk again, I held the hand of Ms. Peterson and run away from them still holding her bag. Her white hand is so softly like a hand of a baby and I could hold this way forever. “W-wait!” She yelled and stopped running and so am I. “I can't run that fast! I am asthmatic.” I was surprised on what she said. “I-I'm sorry I didn't know that you–” She laugh out loud. “Hahaha! It's okay. I can handle myself you don't have to worry. May I have my bag?” “Ahh, yea, here is your bag.” I gave it back to her. “Don't worry I didn't open it.” I said and smiled at her a little. I feel a little tense in facing her beauty. “Thank you for bringing back my bag. This is really important to me and I can't go out in the house without this,” she said, “By the way, what is your name?” “I-I am Carlos Xyloses and you are Ms. Peterson, right? I heard the officer with you called you that.” “Hahaha! Yea, I'm Ms. Peterson but for you, you can call me on my name.” “What is it your name?” She gave me a smile that quickly took the emptiness in my heart. “My name is Christmas.” “Christmas,” I repeated on her name. “Yea, Christmas Peterson, Carlos.” Beep! “Oh, they are already here. I have to go now. I don't know how I will thank you for saving my bag–” “A dinner with you is already enough,” I insisted. “Dinner?” I nodded at her. “That is a great a idea! I love dinner.” She took a pen in her bag. “Give me your hand.” She took my hand herself and started writing something in my palm. “Here is my number. Text me if when and where do you want to settle our dinner.” She said. “Christmas! Let's go!” “I have to go now. See you in our upcoming dinner, Carlos,” she said and walk fast where the car is waiting for her. Present... “Oh, Bro! What are you doing here?” asked of Luis as I entered at his auto shop. I gave him a 'are you kidding me' look. “Stop playing around, Bro. I'm not in the mood to play in your games.” I said observing all the cars being fix here by his workers. “Hahaha! I know what will put you in the mood,” he said grinning on me. I arched my brow. “What is it?” Luis started to act like he was thinking. “Hmm, beer and women!” I glared at him. “Tsk. Spill it, Luis. What is it you want to tell me?” “Pft. You are too deadly serious, Bro. Hahaha! Let's go in my office. I will show what will put you in the mood.” I didn't reply on what he said and start following him at his back. I closed the door as we entered the office and he handed a folder to me. “What is this?” I asked. “I already found where is Christmas and she is in Jacksonville. It's not far away from here. You can drive there in just two hours base on my Google map,” he answered. My forehead knotted. “What is she doing in Jacksonville, hmm?” “You don't want to know.” He signalled the folder that I am holding.
