Chapter 30
Lina stayed curled up on the floor behind her bedroom door as she hung up her call with Raina. All of Raina’s words replayed in her head. Me? In love? Lina questioned in her mind. She felt horrible for running away from Philip as soon as they got home and locking him out of the bedroom. She hadn’t panicked that much since, well, ever. Lina was usually very calm and collected, which was why she made such a fantastic lawyer.
She sighed heavily and looked at the digital clock on her nightstand. It was well past midnight. She needed to get to sleep, but the thought of suddenly sleeping alone didn’t sit well with her. She hadn’t slept alone in her bed since she and Philip made their relationship exclusive. Hell, she hadn’t slept alone even before that.
