Crystal had just finished her class and she decided to hang out with her friends. She wanted to act like a normal teenager. Actually, she didn't want to go home. She was afraid to meet her father, she wanted to avoid him for a while. She was sure her father would ask her to marry Marco or at least to meet Marco. She really didn't want to marry at that time, she was having a dream to make her life better.
"Preston asked me to join him." Nellie said to her friends while looking at her phone.
"Preston?" Crystal glanced at Nellie and Daniela while putting some papers in her bag. She didn't know Preston. She hadn't met with Preston before.
"He majored in technology but we're at the same level, he's Nellie's cousin." Daniela explained to Crystal. She had hung out many times with Nellie and Preston. They were friends.
"Do you want to join us?" Nellie asked Crystal. It would be Crystal's first time to join them.
"Yes, of course." Crystal answered Nellie, surely. She would go wherever her friends would. She didn't have any place to go.
"Okay, let's go!" Nellie got up. She led her friends to go to Preston's house.
Crystal got up and followed Nellie. She didn't know that Nellie would go to Preston's house. She only wanted to follow her and waste her time. They had just got out of their room and they were walking in the hallway, going out of campus. They were walking to the campus gateway, and Crystal realized she needed to know where they would go.
"Where will we have to go?" Finally, she asked her friends about their purpose of going.
"Preston's house. It's not far from here." Nellie told Crystal their purpose.
"Okay. I'll take my bike." Crystal said while running to get her bike, and let her friends walk to the campus gate first. She didn't want to leave her bike at campus. She didn't know when they would finish and she needed her bike to go home.
They didn't need a long time to reach Preston's house. Preston's house was closer to campus than Daniela's and Nellie's house, but they were in the opposite direction. They needed less than fifteen minutes to reach Preston's house and they walked so easily while chatting, not in a rush.
Nellie opened Preston's house's gate and let her friends get in. They walked through a wide yard to reach Preston's house. Nellie and Daniela walked to the door while Crystal parked her bike.
"Come in!" A young guy wearing a gray t-shirt let his cousin and her friend get into his house.
"I want some water." Nellie went into the house and walked to the kitchen to get some water and Daniela followed behind her. She also wanted to drink. Preston almost closed the door but he saw a young woman in a baby pink blouse standing in front of the door. He held the door and stared at Crystal. His lips pulled up automatically.
"Hi..." Crystal raised her hand to greet the house owner. She felt awkward because it was the first time she had met him and Nellie hadn't introduced them before.
"Hi! Come in." Preston smiled. He felt happy meeting Crystal. His cousin told him that she would come with her friend but he didn't expect a pretty girl. He thought that Nellie would come with Daniela.
"I'm Crystal, Nellie's friend." Crystal introduced herself. She didn't want the situation to become more awkward.
"I'm Preston." Preston's lips didn't want to turn down. His lips showed his feelings so well. He felt glad to meet with Crystal. Preston had met a lot of girls, but it was the first time he had met a girl like Crystal. Crystal was like a spring wind, but he also felt she was like autumn and other seasons at the same time. He felt she was easy going but also hard to get close to her.
"Come in!" He opened the door wider to let Crystal get into his house.
"Thanks..." Crystal walked into his house.
"Fell free. I'll get some water for you." Preston closed the door and then walked to the kitchen. He was a little bit nervous. It was the first time he felt nervous meeting a woman. He ran to the kitchen and left Crystal alone.
Crystal wanted to say thanks to him, but his movement was faster than her lips, her tongue was stuck between her teeth because the word thanks was canceled out of her mouth. Her pupils were looking around to find someone else in that room that maybe was looking at her awkward act, but she found no one else. She was alone in that room and didn’t know what she should do and what they would do. It was her first time visiting that house, but her friends left her with the house owner, who she had never seen before, and the house owner also left her.
She decided to look around the room where she was standing, while waiting for her friends. It was a clean and tidy room. She turned her head up to see the ceiling. The room had a high ceiling and some big glass windows. She noticed it was a big house. Sometimes, she glanced in the direction where all of her friends went to know that maybe they were coming back.
