Chapter 8: Secretary at Work
Alexander left the company at some point, though she wasn't sure when. It was probably when she went to the bathroom because after three in the afternoon, she didn't see him in the office again and didn't dare to call and ask.
The atmosphere between her and Alexander was tense, and she had no idea what caused it.
Elizabeth packed her things into her bag after working overtime for one hour and twelve minutes without pay. She shut down her desktop computer and walked into the large elevator. Soon, she reached the front of the company, where she coincidentally met Dominic, who was waiting.
