    ROGUE BETA POV

It's been two weeks since she entered that pack and we still haven't reached there yet, this stupid alpha is letting the older people slow us down, I understand saving the kids and their parents, but why slow us down even more with the old people.

I have been waiting so long to see her, after the incident with Damien I couldn't help think about her more, I hate the fact that he was so close to her, the way he was looking at her, the way he said that she was his made my blood boil. I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize that we were in her pack territory. The alpha asked us to stay behind because he didn't know what to expect, for all he knows this may be another trap. 

I stood from behind a tree and looked at her, she was so beautiful, the way the suns shines on her skin so perfect so flawless, she was just laying there on the grass looking at the sky, so lost in thought. I took a step forward to see her better but snapped a twig instead, causing her to look in our direction. I was so focused on her that, I didn't realize that both she and the alpha had exchanged words. He told us through mind link to come out, her eyes go wide at the scene before her.

After pulling out her phone to call her alpha which I find to be strange, because she could of mind linked him, she leads us to the pack hospital. I couldn't help but stare at her, she was so close yet so far, but her eyes were only on the alpha, I didn't like that look at all I want her to look at me like that, I want to pleasure her, I want her to scream my name when she cums. When we got to the hospital she stops the alpha saying he needs to go see Alpha Colin. I was in and out of the doctor's visit so fast, I just wanted to see her as I was about to open the door when I heard voices. The packs beta and Caleb were starring at each other, as they were about to walk off he tried to grab her elbow and Caleb punched him, what the hell is going on here aren't he suppose to be building an alliance. 

After they left I followed him, they both were so lost in thought they didn't sense me at all. When they entered the office I stood outside and listened to the conversation, I couldn't hear much but I knew something was off when I heard a loud growl coming from outside, after that growl I heard footsteps, lots of footsteps, I hid in the room next to the office until everyone was inside and that's when I heard her shout out. "YES CALEB IS MY MATE".

I couldn't think I was so heartbroken, I ran out of the house into the forest and shifted, I didn't care about my clothes, I just need to leave. I ran for a while until I came up to a stream, I lay on the ground thinking of ways I can get her, but none of it beats the mate bond, for all I know they are probably completing it right now. Gosh, my chest hurts so much just thinking about them being together, he kissing her and she kissing him back, I want it to be me. I love her, I'm obsessed. 

I must have fallen asleep while deep in thought because I heard someone calling my name.

"Austin"

"Austin"

"Austin, I know you can hear me now wake up", said a smooth voice, wait I know that voice, my eyes snapped open seeing none other than the moon goddess granddaughter. On any other day, I would have tried to kidnap her again but I just wanted to be alone.

"What do you want goddess? Would you like me to kidnap you again? I said, lowering my head down to go back to sleep. She started laughing and then there were two voices. 

"You see grandmother, I told you he won't want to help in stopping Annalise's stupid plan," she said getting my full attention. I stood up not caring that I'm fully naked and looked at the two women in front of me. I was so confused at this point, that I didn't know how to start asking questions, seeing me struggling, the moon goddess granddaughter started to talk.

"So it is true, you do have feelings for her," she said looking me straight in my eyes. I couldn't talk so I just Nod, her gaze was so intense that lying is of no use.

"Austin the feeling you have for her is strong but it's not love, it's lust, there will come a time though that you will have to choose either lust or loyalty," she said, but I rolled my eyes I knew how I felt.

"Austin, she isn't lying, Annalise is overwhelmed and she is going to do something stupid, we need you to help her, but in other to do so, you need to choose, are you loyal to her or are you going to keep the rogue alpha plan and keep her for your own lust-filled desires. The older one said to me, but the idea of the rogue alpha or even that stupid bloodsucker having her was more infuriating than seeing her with her mate. I needed to know why they would come to me after everything I have done.

"Why would you come to me after everything I have done?" I asked them both.

"We could feel your sense of protecting her, and we have been watching you ever since the fall of Caleb pack", the young one said, s**t then they must know it was me who caused the attack but could I really help her. I mean I could be close to her if I help her, but will she want me to be close to her after she figures out everything. I sigh and looked at the two of them, I don't think I can do this, I was about to tell them when they both looked at each other and then at me.

"If you have any feelings for her at all you will reconsider, and you should head back, things are happening faster than expected". The young one said before fading away. I took a minute to shift and looked at my surroundings.

"Jay, how long did we stay out", I mind linked my wolf

"All night dumbass, can't you see it morning, now let's go anna might need our help," I knew I couldn't stop him, he hated the rogue alpha and Damien so much, that it was hard to control him in their presence. We ran to the packhouse and into the room that was assigned to us, I shifted to human form and headed for the bathroom. After showering and changing, I took out the burner phone the alpha had given me to stay in contact with him to check for messages, but to my good luck, there wasn't any. After hiding the phone I headed to the kitchen. On entering the kitchen I heard the omega saying something about an alpha challenge. Listening good, I heard Anna challenge, Colin, what!!! that doesn't make sense so I left the kitchen and headed for her room. As I bend the corner I saw her lying on the ground almost unconscious, I quickly ran to her, picking her up like a baby, and carried her to her room.   

I love the way she felt in my arms, her skin against mine, and the way she grabbed my shirt and snuggle into me was amazing, but I knew it was wrong, I mind-linked Caleb and in a couple of minutes, he was at her side. I was looking at her unconscious state on the bed and I knew what side I would choose. I would surely give my life for her, and I'm one hundred percent sure that neither the Rogue alpha nor Damien will get their hands on her. I left her room and headed to mines to formulate a plan to present her when she wakes up.

ANNALISE POV

    After everyone left the office my parents came to me and asked me to explain, but I couldn't, all I could think about was Colin, and then that's when the idea hit me, I know how to deal with the rouge alpha. First I have to smoothen thing with Colin, he didn't fight back, he didn't even try to convince me otherwise, I mean if you really love the pack won't you fight for it. Caleb, my parents, and John were talking about something but I didn't hear anything.

"So anna what do you think about our plan", said my dad but I had no idea what he was talking about.

"Ummm, I really am sorry, but can we talk about this a little later I have something to take care of", I said standing to exit but Caleb grabbed my hand.

"Are you ok" he linked me

"Yes I just need to speak to Colin, can you please handle my parents for me I really need to go", I replied through our link.

He nodded and let go of my hand, as I left the office I linked Colin,

"Colin"

"Yea"

"Can I talk to you"

"Sure I'm in my room with Kelly"

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU GUYS HAVING s*x"

"WHAT NO"

"Good see you in a minute"

With that, I cut the link and headed for their room, as I was about to reach the room, my head started to feel light, Gosh not again I tried hard to reach my room but fail really badly. I was almost passed out when I felt a pair of warm arms holding me up, they were not Caleb or Colin's but they were warm and comforting, I couldn't help but snuggle in a little before falling fast asleep. As I opened my eyes I saw Eve and her grandmother looking at me. 

"Did you really have to challenge Colin", asked Eve

"How else am I going to get him off my back" I replied 

"So hurting the ones who love you is the right way"

"It's better than them being dead", I snapped. I mean I lost my parents and now I have a whole different Family and a mate so what am I to do. I stood and started to pace in front of them trying to figure out what to do next, they both looked at me and had a weird expression on their faces.

"What, why are you looking at me like that", I asked them, I took back my seat and turned to them.

"Well, we may have asked someone for help because we had a feeling you would do something stupid".

and that's when I remembered the guy from the hallway, 

"Are you talking about the guy in the hallway", I asked raising an eyebrow at them. For them to ask a stranger for help means something is coming.

"Yes", said Eve " and I see you getting quite comfortable being in his arms", she said raising her eyebrow at me. 

"WHAT NO, HE WAS JUST WARM", I said a little loud and blushing like a schoolgirl.

"Ok well back to business, the reason why we called you is that we got some information. We managed to get a link from one of the rogue's, and it looks like the dark witch that curse your mom, is hiding the rogue alpha from us so we can't see his plans, however, he is planning to use his alliance with Damien to attack the pack and get you and then kill Damien, if that does happen he will have complete control of the vampires and rogues. The guy who helped you will explain some stuff to you, and you should listen to him but keep an open mind". Eve said, so this guy has information for us. I could feel the rage building in me, this witch took everything away from me and now she is trying again. I need to get back fast I need to continue my plan.

"OK I need to go back and formulate a plan, I can see Eve's training is paying off, she glowing". I said laughing a bit trying not to show my anger. I felt my eyes got heavy and I heard Caleb talking to someone, I opened my eyes to see Caleb and Colin standing by the door and Kelly sitting on the chair, but before I talk to them I need to talk to Nova, because whatever I plan she has to agree. 

"Nova, can we talk"

"Yes we can talk, can you please tell me why you were so comfortable in another wolf's arms?" she yelled at me, it's not like I cheated on Caleb.

"Like I said he was warm", I said rolling my eyes at Nova, "Listen I'm thinking about a plan, it clicked when I challenge Colin this morning are you ok with it?"

"YES, I CAN'T WAIT",

"Good, time to let them know I'm up", 

I sat up on the bed and looked around, so the guy is surely not here, I wonder if Caleb knows who he is.

"Caleb who is the guy that brought me to my room", I said, both Colin and Caleb came and sit beside me, Kelly came and lay on my lap causing both Colin and Caleb to growl.

"That was Austin, why do you ask", Caleb asked, his voice sound deep like his wolf was trying to come forward. 

"Relax your wolf, Caleb, I need to talk to him it's urgent, Can you tell him I would like to see him at once", I said and Caleb nod. After a few minutes, we heard a knock and Caleb answered, saying come in. As the guy came in I couldn't help but feel happy seeing him, he bows and came to stand next to the bed causing everyone in the room to growl, I laughed and shook my head at how they were behaving.

"So I'm guessing the moon goddess send you to me for a reason", I said looking at the guy in his eyes, but I couldn't see danger, I saw the opposite was it love or was I overthinking it because I felt a connection when our eyes locked. Everyone's eyes were on me and I could see the shocked expressions on their faces.

"YES and I am so sorry, I made a lot of mistakes and I was given away to redeem myself," he said bending his head and looking at the ground. "I'm the one the rogue alpha send to spy on you, I am so sorry, and trust me I won't let any harm come to you," he said shocking all of us but before I could reply he was on the ground being beaten by Caleb, Colin, and Kelly.
