The Hybrid Princess (completed)

MISSION

ANNALISE   

        After the incident at the gym John, Kelly, Kylen, and I talked. I told them everything from knowing, the truth about my parents, and about the impromptu mission to save the moon goddess granddaughter. They were all too happy to join on, although I knew they didn't think I could handle it on my own. Kylen helped in the vampire division and, John who now is behaving like an overprotective uncle handled the wolf training. 

The day before my birthday came too fast, and we were packing to leave, John had slipped some sedatives with a little wolf's bane in my parents' coffee, after their training update so they were out for the rest of the day and all night. After doing some background checks on some packs, we found out that the Rouge Alpha was attacking and take over a lot of packs with his and I quote 'NEW POWER'. So, we immediately left we ran in wolf form for two hours until we reached the hideout where they were keeping her. The alpha didn't want her staying in any of the houses, in case there was an attack and someone took her while they were distracted. This was my first mission, I was scared at first then started to calm down, as Nova told me to think of it as practice for the revenge I had planned for my parents. The plan was simple, I had to mask my scent and go in seeking help from being attack by vampires, and distract the wolves so we can free the moon goddess granddaughter. 

As we got closer we stopped, shifted, and changed Uncle Kylen rubbed blood all over my T-shirt and made it looked like I was attacked, then I started to walk closer to the building. When I saw the guard's insight, I pretended to fall and drag my body on the ground, as on cue the guard came running and pick me up carrying me inside. I know I should have been scared but I was feeling so strong and confident that nothing was going to make us fail. As the guard set me down he asked what happened, I told him I was separated from my family during a hike and some vampires attacked me. He pulled out his phone and called the alpha informing him of the matter at hand, the alpha said to put me in the dungeon and that's when I knew my mission was a success. As we got to the dungeon the guard apologized and left, I waited another five minutes to see if he was coming back and then started my plan.

Using my powers I opened the gate without touching it, I checked all the cells until I reached one with a huge steel door, it was so heavy that I drained all my energy opening the door, as the door opened I saw her, she was in the corner of the room with a chair in her hand ready to fight, I couldn't help but laugh what was she expecting to do with a chair. After a few minutes of waiting for her to calm down, I walked over and told her to relax her grandmother send me to get her. Escaping would have been difficult as I was drained, but as she saw me struggling, she touched my shoulder and it was like I had slept for a week. I was renewed and ready for whatever was coming my way.

As we slowly made our way to the exit, I looked around to check for the guards, there were only four at the front desk which was an easy takedown, after putting the guards unconscious bodies in the cells and locking the doors, the moon goddess granddaughter and I ran towards the tree line to meet the crew, and that's when we heard the siren going off, as our plan Kylen took the moon goddess granddaughter back using his vampire speed and we stayed to fight. John, Kelly, and I shifted into wolves and battled our way out leaving no survivors to report back. All our training paid off because we came out with hardly any bad injuries and ran back home.

When we got to the gym Kylen and the moon goddess granddaughter were in a serious conversation, I was surprised I thought the moon goddess would have come for her already.

"Anna thank god your ok, you need to hear what she has to say, "Uncle Kylen said.

"What's going on?"

"The alpha rough is looking for the hybrid princess to make her his luna and worrier. He said that she was promised to him by her parents when she was born," she said with sadness in her eyes. I knew my parents won't do that, so I was not worried so I just shook my head and looked at her.

"Don't worry I have been training a lot and can defend myself, and besides, no one besides us knows who I am"

 "That's not true, he got word from someone in your father's side of the family, and he is coming for you. He was trying to get me to locate you when you came for me" she said panicking, I did the best thing I can do, I hold her hand and told her it will be alright. After chatting for a while we heard the clock making noise indicating its 12:00 am, and there she was standing right beside her granddaughter smiling at all of us.

"Thank you all, for saving my granddaughter she will be the new moon goddess. Anna happy birthday I see you made yourself a little pack here, and I'm guessing you are the Alpha since it was your plan that made the mission a success. I am confident that you will win this war now just remember, all that I have said to you. The rouge alpha has found out that she was saved and he isn't happy so be on guard, he is power-hungry and is working with vampires and witches to get what he wants. she said in a no-nonsense tone.

"Your welcome and don't worry my little pack here has my back"

"Don't worry, your pack will grow especially when you meet your mates," she said with a wide smile.

"HER WHAT", both my uncles said at the same time. The mood goddess just laughed and faded away. They both turned to me and decided to give me 'THE TALK', it was a long night. After that rescue, John informed us that my fathers pack asked him to rejoin and trained the warriors because the alpha rouge was attacking any pack he wants to big or small, he didn't care if he wins or loses, he was looking to see if the pack had power or not, that only made things worse for me because my training was more intense. John and Kylen said it's better to train me to be an Alpha and Kelly to be my beta. My seventeen birthday passed with the normal visit from both moon goddess and update on training, my parents still clueless on what's going on it had me wondering how where they even warriors. 

Today is the day before my 18th birthday, and here I am arguing with Nova to train all because she is tired like I'm not, so instead of arguing with her I called John for an update as normal he answered on the first ring.

 "Happy birthday Anna and how can I help you tonight," he said and I smiled knowing I probably woke him up.

"Thank you and I need an update on the rogue alpha, also I wanted to let you know that Nova, Kelly, and I won't train for a few days, I'm thinking of going to a lake house and relax for a few days," I said expecting him to say ok but what he said next pissed me off bad.

"I'm sorry Anna, I found out tonight that your grandfather is coming for you in the morning, they are planning on telling you the truth tomorrow, the rouge alpha is somewhere close, they want you to live in the packhouse where it's safe," he said carefully knowing I will be pissed off.

"OK," I said and hung up the phone. I was mad and there was no controlling emotion right now.  

"Anna you know it's not his fault right," Nova said 

"I know, we should be prepared for whatever tomorrow brings," I said trying to push my anger aside, but before going to sleep I snuck outside to look for the vampire guard to inform him of the move tomorrow.

 "James you there?" I called out to the dark forest

"Yes, what are you doing outside this hour" He replied walking out from the darkness he was 6'2, black hair, red eyes, he never hit it from me and he had the whole bad boy demeanor down. He was a secret best friend that I could talk to without being judged or being the hidden princess he saw me as a person. 

"I just woke up from training with Nova, she bitching about being tired so, I called John to let him know we are taking a few days off and he informed me that my grandfather will be here tomorrow to move me into the packhouse to keep me safe, apparently the rouge alpha is close by". I said

"HEY, I WASN'T BITCHING I'M TIRED" Nova screamed at me.

"Ok I need to inform your uncle but before I do HAPPY BIRTHDAY," He said with a huge smile on his face I couldn't help but smile back.

"Thank you, James"

"Do you want your gift now or later?" he asked

"NOW," I said excitedly. James pulled out a small box and a bottle of red wine and handed me both. I took the box and opened it quickly to find a gold ring with a red stone. The color of the stone looks like the color of blood, and around it had white stones it was beautiful. I looked up at him and jumped on him hugging him hard.

"Thank you, James, I love it," I said while still hugging him, after a few minutes I let go looking at the ring thinking how grateful I am to have such a nice friend.

"Good I'm glad you like it, now let the real celebration begin, I'm sure after the news you got you will need a drink". He said handing me a glass of wine, I have never drunk before but what the hell it's my birthday after all. 

"Cheers to many more birthdays to come". he said raising his glass

"Cheers," I said reach my glass to his. 

This is going to be an awesome night. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to school tomorrow.
