The Hybrid Princess (completed)

ANNALISE POV

       Its been six months since I won the challenge and took over Jacksons pack with Caleb. A lot has happened but what affect me the most was Austin leaving. He woke up a month after the challenge from his coma, when he found out the price of him coming back, he was so mad he didn't want to speak to me at all, even when Caleb tried but it didn't change. A week after he woke up I had planned on staying in the hospital until he talks to me but when I got there I was informed that Austin left during the night. We searched all over but there was no sight of him. He was gone. 

        Another big thing that happened was making the decision to stop looking for the mole, simply, because I knew my family wont betray me and this was a distraction Damien and Jackson created to throw me of, my grandparents from my mom side didn't come to visit but they called everyday, I learned a lot about my mom and even her powers, my grandparents where busy looking for Damien to ensure my safety, they didn't want another k********g to take place. Kylen and James are still with me, they are like my guardians and it gets annoying most of the time, but I love them no matter what.

        My grandfather and uncle Logan have been great supporters to our pack, whenever Caleb and I need there help we would called them and listen their advice and suggestions most of the time there advice helped. We had both Kelly and mine Luna ceremonies together, strange I know but it felt right. I told my family the full truth about everything from my thirteenth birthday to date, including the moon goddess and the powers, my step father was so excited that we spent and entire evening levitating stone by the lake, my step mom however, was so mad when we got home, Caleb had to lie about an 'important meeting' that needed our attention to get away from her wrath. She didn't change she was still my mom even if she wasn't blood. 

        Caleb and I have been so good it was starting to scare me a bit, I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop, the mate pull was so strong that sometime we had to use separate offices to get more work done, the simple touch or kiss was always sending us in a wave of lust, last week we found out that Kelly was pregnant and I never thought about having kids but I could see and feel his emotion when they asked if we were considering having kids. It was a topic we never spoke about and now that's in the air its scary, we have six months before Damien comes back, six months to plan out everything, six months to find a away to keep the humans from finding out about us, so how can I even think about a baby. 

        Today, I'm meeting with another Alpha in the forest where all our packs are connected, it was Colin, James, Alpha Xander and me. James and I reached first and was just sitting there waiting when I suddenly felt like I was being watched, from the way my body reacted I already knew who it was. I knew he gave us one year but for him to show up to an alpha meeting was strange even for him. I knew I need to get James to leave me alone to avoid him getting hurt, I cant handle losing another friend. 

 "James, can you please go back to the pack house and get me the peace treaty document, I was supposed to bring it but I forgot, I'm so sorry but you will make it back faster than me", I asked James, he looked at me unsure of what to do before nodding his head agreeing with me.

"Stay right here and mind link Caleb if you are in any sort of danger, OK", he said very sternly and by the way his voice was deep I knew not to argue with him. In a split second he was gone and now I have to face Damien. 

"COME OUT DAMIEN I KNOW YOUR HERE", I shouted looking around to see what direction he was coming from, as if on cue he moved so fast that he was now standing in front of me. Damien had grew more powerful in the last six months, I could feel the power coming of him. I could tell he is getting help from someone who is using dark magic. He was emanating power. Damien was dressed in a dark grey three piece suit, with a light gray shirt, a plain black tie and a pair of shiny black shoes. He had a very dominating aura around him, if you cant stand your own ground you will feel intimidated but I'm not a person to feel intimidated easily. 

"I'm surprised you felt me, I didn't think I left an impression", Damien said with a smug look on his face, normally his stupid comments would not bother me, but, seeing him again its like losing Austin all over again the memory, the pain, the anger was all coming up to the surface again. 

"Don't flatter yourself, I only sense you because I have been looking for you for the last six months, what you did to Austin only ensured me that there will never be peace among us", I said, standing straight with my head held high.

"Look, I only did that to show you that you cant protect everyone, if you would only stop trying to play hero for the human, things will be much better, prin--", before he could even finish the sentence I stopped him,

"What the actual hell Damien, you cant go around killing people to prove a point, nor will I stop playing 'HERO' for the humans, you don't understand and you never will, you and Jackson are no different you are all about power nothing else matters to you", I said to him, I was so infuriated with him, the audacity of this man is amazing. 

        He stood there looking at me, staring into my eyes looking for something, maybe a hint of uncertainty, but he wont find that, I'm absolutely sure of what needs to be done, and to protect our future as werewolves and other supernatural being we have to remain a secret. People fear what they don't understand and what they have no control over, so staying hidden is best for us, the world is big enough for all of us to live in peace, I don't understand why the sudden need to come out. Damien let out a sigh pulling me out of my thoughts and started to walk back to the direction he came from, but before he leave he stopped and what he said left me shaken. 

"I thought we could come to some agreement princess, but it seems your mind is set, so enjoy your time with your family, you all have six months left and I do apologized in advance because when we come back it wont be pleasant, and tell Kelly this wasn't the right time to get pregnant", and with that he speed of, what the f**k, the baby, how the hell did he find out. Colin had Kelly under strong security since she found out she was pregnant, I cant let another child grow up without parents. I need a plan and fast, as I was about to leave I saw some wolves coming out of the tree line and then I remembered the meeting, Damien shook me up so much I completely forgot about the meeting. 

        As they got closer they stopped and shifted and yes in front of me, as on instinct I pulled my hand over my eyes, earning a few chuckles from the guys standing in front of me, like seriously I know its normal but the only naked guy I want to see is my mate not some stranger I'm meeting for the first time. From the sizes of the wolf I can tell who is the alpha and who isn't. Alpha Xander came with three other men, they have this confidence about them and looking at them I could tell they are accustomed to having lots of attention around them. Alpha Xander was tall, dark and handsome but not as handsome as Caleb, he had green eyes with a hint of brown in them, his hair was black and cut short, his body was to perfect with the muscles standing out, I can see the girls in my pack going crazy over this alpha and his friends. Coming out of my zone I walked up and extended my hand to him to introduce myself,

"Welcome, I'm Luna Annalise, I'm sorry about just now I'm not accustom to people shifting in front of me", 

"Its no problem, I'm Alpha Xander and this is my beta Chris, and my two guards Noah and Sam", Alpha Xander said pointing to the people behind him.

"Welcome, would you guys like to head to my pack or would you like to get to the point right here and be on our way", I said politely, I didn't trust Damien at all, as far as I know he could have people waiting for us to slip up to attack, and having another Alpha killed while in your presence can cause an unnecessary war.  

"Wow, I see what everyone says about you is true, why are you in such a hurry? Is it about the conversation with you and the vampire?", Alpha Xander said looking at me with a 'I got you look'. Damn I should of paid attention to the surroundings, stupid Damien. Let out a sigh I dropped my head I didn't want him to know about Damien, that only means Caleb and James will know, this wont be a pleasant evening.

"I'm sorry to put you in this situation but I don't trust him, so its better if we head to the pack house so we could talk and please don't say anything to anyone, they will flip." I said and with a simple nod I shifted and ran to the pack house followed by Alpha Xander and his men. 

        When we arrived at the pack house I was surprised to see my uncle Logan, Kelly and Colin here. James was now coming out the house with a very pissed of look on his face, I guess he figured out it have no such document. I wanted to talk to Kelly but I need to sort out my guess before talking to Kelly. I mind link Caleb,

"Caleb, love, are you busy?"

"I'm in the office, do you need something, is everything ok", I couldn't help but laugh, always over protective.

"I'm find but Alpha Xander is here, we are all in wolf form, I'm heading up to our room to change can you come sort out our guess", 

"Sure you don't need to ask but I though you guys where meeting in the forest", 

"Ammm yes I changed my mind, I will be down shortly ok, I just need to change and speak to Kelly",

"OK madam but when you finishing lying to please let me know what wrong, remember we are in this together, OK",

"Yes love",

        Damn this man knows me to well, I walked up to James nodding my wolf head to the door indicating James to open it, James gladly opened the door, I know he doesn't like me shifting in front of people, so it doesn't take much communication to know what I want to do. As I passed Kelly I look up and titled my head, and as soon as she understood I was able to mind link her. With Kelly pregnancy being new she blocked all mind link in case something is wrong and she need to get to Colin.

"What's up Anna, aren't we supposed to meet these guys in the forest",

"Kelly, follow me to my room, we need to talk asap",

"Ok", 

        As we made our way to my room Kelly open the room door and bathroom door for me, I quickly showered and change. The conversation that I planned on having with Kelly I need some support so I wore my favorite black Iron Man T-shirt, blue jeans and black converse sneakers, walking back into the room I notice Kelly scanning the room like she did when she was my beta, I guess old habits die hard. Right no need to prolong this conversation so I took a seat on the bed and cleared my throat.

"Kelly, please don't freak out, but Damien knows your pregnant and I feel like he is going to use your baby against us in the up coming war", I said looking at her, her eyes widen upon hearing the news, her eyes went black showing her wolf coming forward. 

"What the f**k, how does he know and how the f**k do you know this", Kelly said more like shouted, now I know she is upset and all, but Nova don't like anyone disrespecting us especially since we lost one of our powers, she have been uncontrol able lately only Caleb have been able to calm her down. Letting out a low growl Kelly immediately bow her head. 

"I'm sorry Anna my wolf took over"

"Its ok I understand, it just Nova is all over these days with her emotions"

"Is he really coming for my baby"

"I'm not sure, but we need to figure something out"

"Anna call James he will know what to do"

        Pulling my phone from the night stand I texted James, in less than a minute he was in the room. After explaining everything to him, he was pissed of and lecture me about how stupid I was, yea, been there, done than, it didn't take long for him to come up with an plan because he started pacing around the room mumbling to himself like a mad person. After a few minutes he stopped and looked at us. 

"I have an idea, but Colin wont be happy with it", James said with determination in his voice.

"OK shoot", I said jumping up from the bed, ready to hear his master plan.

"Kelly you will stay with Colin for now, just before the war comes you will need to have a fight with him, pack your bags and leave the house that way no one will suspect anything, I will pick you up and take you to New York to the coven where you can deliver the baby and be protected", James said nodding to himself, damn I should have though of that.

"Yes that's perfect", I said jumping up with excitement knowing that Kelly and baby Kelly will be safe with my grandparents. 

"NO", Kelly shouted shaking her head.

"What, why", both James and I questioned her. 

"I'm not leaving, when you guys need me the most", 

This is f*****g ridiculous, what is a pregnant woman going to do in a supernatural war, I know Kelly is a bad ass but if I have to command her ass to stand down I will. 

"What are you going to do Kelly, bump everyone with your belly or kill them with mood swing and craving, look think about the baby this is the best decision", James said and I could see she is thinking about it.

"Fine but I want a whole chocolate cake tonight", 

"Deal", We both said happy that we won. Now that's over on to the next, finding some allies to help us.
