Melian couldn't stop staring at his abs, why in God's name was he shirtless?!!
“ Are you done staring or should I give you more time?" She glared at him, it was a shame he was despicable and a narcissist.
“I thought I told you this place was dangerous?" Melian scoffed at his words.
“You were the one that called my name and brought me here" she argued. He narrowed his eyes on her.
“You mean you were the one, I don't even know your name" He was this close to combusting.
“Neither do I" She yelled back, they stared at each other, none refusing to back down.
“I told you I'll do something to you we'll both regret but it seemed you didn't heed to my warning" she smirked at him
“Then why haven't you done anything yet?" His eyes darkened. She was right, why hasn't he done anything. Just then before she could blink, he was already in her front. He held her neck and lifted her up from the ground, she squirmed in his hold and tried to push him off but he won't budge.
“I told you I won't be lenient with you anymore, you lykras are the reason we have to live like animals" her face was already turning blue, she tried again to remove his hand from her neck.
“Let go of me!!" Her eyes glowed green, she grabbed his arm and he flinched before dropping her to the ground. He looked at the place she grabbed and it was burnt, he turned to look at her. Melian who was still trying to regain her breath didn't even notice she had burnt him.
“Maybe you are not as weak as I thought" he whispered to himself but she clearly heard because she turned to glare at him.
“Why do you hate Lykras so much when you guys are the wrong one here, you guys forced my kind to commit mass suicide, you don't have any reason to be angry" she yelled. He stared at her in confusion.
“What is this nonsense you are spouting out of your mouth?, My kind, wrong?, Oh when the lykras practically turned us to slave and drank our bloods we were wrong then right?" Melian gasped, what did he just say?.
“What are you talking about?" He rolled his eyes at her.
“This is what you lykras are known for, always trying to play the victim" she ignored his words.
“I knew something wasn't right, both stories don't check out" she thought before turning to him.
“Your story is far different from mine, how do we know who is really in the wrong here?" He glared at her.
“It's obviously your Kind, then you guys locked us out here and casted a spell upon us. Haven't you ever wondered why you are the only one that can jump this fence?" She stared at him dumbfoundedly, he laughed when he saw her face.
“Foolish lykra, the other gem elves have been trying to leave aneathra for a very long time but they were unable to but you could do it on your first try" she shook her head.
“Lykras are not bad, my grandma....."
“Your grandma doesn't know anything, Lykras are evil, they wanted to be the only one in charge and when my ancestors challenged them, they cursed them to live in solitude and then they trapped your people in aneathra and made it so that they were the only one that could leave so that the people would depend on them. That's how twisted their mind was" Melian stared at him with wide eyes. she couldn't believe it but she had to admit it made a whole lot of sense that the previous story she heard.
“Then why did they kill themselves if that were the case!" When Alfur didn't answer she continued.
“Can't you see something doesn't add up, these stories are missing something, the final piece to the puzzle" Alfur sighed.
“Leave and never return back here" he turned to leave.
“There's a reason we were both called Alfur, we need to solve this together" he halted before he turned to look at her.
“Never in this lifetime would I agree to work with a Lykra" he spat.
“I can find out on my own, just leave" he added.
“I'll be here tomorrow, I'll give you tonight to make your decision" he stared at her in disbelief then he scoffed.
“Are you giving me time?" She sighed.
“This is a way to help your people, don't let the opportunity pass you by" he snorted at her words before turning away.
“By the way my name is Melian, yours?" He groaned before turning around to glare at her.
“ Leave!!" He yelled but she didn't flinch, she smiled instead.
“See you tomorrow at the same time, yeah?" She didn't wait for his answer before climbing the fence and disappearing from his sight. He stood there for a minute just staring at the fence
“I've never met someone so unbelievable" he shook his head
“Who's unbelievable?" Alfur turned his head so quickly he almost gave himself whiplash
“How many times have I told you not to sneak up on me?" Damien ignored him
“Why are you staring at this fence like that?" His face contorted with suspicion as he looked at Alfur
“Do you know the story of what transpired between our kind and Lykras?" Damien eyes widened
“Did you see a lykra!!??" He screamed, Alfur glared at him and he immediately shut his mouth
“Dude, did you really see one?" Alfur sighed before turning towards the fence
“Yes and she's hella feisty" Damien stared at him with wide eyes before it darkened
“Have you forgotten about what her kind did to us huh?" Alfur turned to glare at him
“Of course not but what she told me made me question whether what we have been told is true" Damien was speechless, what the hell is happening!!....
