After Melian left that night, Alfur walked back to his own village. His face was twisted in distaste, Anyone who saw him on the way gave way for him because no one wanted to be on the receiving end of his wrath.    Alfur's father Kain, was a merciless ruler, he had no compassion whatsoever even for his people and Alfur was no exception. When Alfur was young, his father would beat him up with a rod dipped in lava if he didn't do something he liked or if his magic was too sloppy. No matter how much Alfur begged, his father didn't listen. Alfur came to understand that this was the curse brought upon his people, to not feel anything for anyone thus turning their gems black. It was a curse brought upon his people all because of those lykras, he fumed, he should have just twisted her neck when he had the chance.         “Alfur" he turned around to glare at the voice, right now he didn't want to be disturbed. his annoying sister irene ran up to him.      “Where have you been?Father's been looking for you" Alfur grunted, his father never looked for him unless he wanted Alfur to do something for him and right now Alfur wasn't in the mood.     “I don't think you have any right to know where I've been" he boomed but Irene didn't even flinch. She narrowed her eyes at him, before she could say anything, Alfur vanished from her side and appeared right in front of his father.     “I was told you were looking for me" his father looked at him with displeasure.      “Bring him in" The guards then dragged a young boy in front of Alfur and made him kneel down.    “You see this boy?, I want you to kill him right before my eyes" Alfur stared back at kain indifferently, Yes he was feared by everyone in town because he knew how to torture someone but he had never killed anyone before.      “What was his crime?" He asked Kain calmly.     “He spoke ill of you to his peers" Alfur sighed before turning to the boy, his aura turned dark and sinister that everyone, even the King, held their breath.     “What did you tell your peers about?" The boy was shaking and sweating profusely.     “Don't you know how to talk!!!" He thundered, the boy flinched so hard the guards had to hold him down.     “I... I... Said you are ....soft and ...t..tha..that I can't bear to watch you become our next ruler" the boy stuttered, Alfur chuckled sinisterly.     “Oh is that so?, Then I'll make sure you don't see it then" Alfur claws grew out, they were as pointed as a needle, he used his index finger to raise the boy's head towards him then he dug his fingers into the eyes. The boy screamed in pain and tried to get away from Alfur but Alfur's hold on him was too strong.      “Now you can't see it," he released the boy from his hold. The boy slumped down on the and whimpered as the guards dragged him away. Alfur turned back to his father.    “I'll be in my room" he made a move to walk away.     “I told you to kill him, how dare you defy my orders" Alfur halted, he scoffed before turning back to the king and stared directly into his eyes. The king gulped which didn't go unnoticed by Alfur. He smirked at the king before going to his room.       The next morning, Alfur was already up and was ready to visit his friend Damien so they could fight one another. Maybe that young boy was right, maybe he was getting soft, they didn't want Mercy so he wasn't going to give it to them anymore. As soon as he got outside, he raised his head and glared at the sun. He hated the son Because it looked too joyful and cheerful, there was nothing in his life to be joyful for in fact, he didn't even know how to be joyful and that's why he hated the sun, it had something he couldn't have.     “Look what the devil dragged in, to what do I owe the favour of you visiting?" As soon Alfur stepped into Damien's mansion, Damien appeared right in front of him. Alfur rolled his eyes at him.     “I need to train," Damien scoffed.     “The prince of this town wants to train with me?, I'm deeply honoured" Alfur glared at him.     “Don't be so cocky, I'll be on the training ground" He disappeared right before Damien's eyes.      “So commanding" before he disappeared too.        “So what makes you want to train today?" He looked at Alfur who had already gotten out of his attire and was waiting for him.    “A young boy said he couldn't bear to see me be king because I'm soft," Damien chuckled.      “And what did you do to him!"     “I took his eyes out" Damien slapped his arm while laughing.      “I expected nothing less from the torture king" Alfur smirked.      “Alfur" Alfur stared at Damien weirdly.      “Why are you staring at me like that?"       “Did you just call my name?" Damien shook his head.     “Alfur" he turned around to search for the voice but didn't see anything.     “Did you hear that?" Damien stared at him in confusion.     “Hear what?"     “ Alfur!" The voice got more urgent     “I've got to go" he walked away from Damien.      “Huh?, Wait what about our.." Alfur had already disappeared before he could complete his sentence, he huffed before going back to his house.      Alfur followed the voice, it's like the voice was yearning for him and he was damn curious, as he came across the fence, he stood there for a while before he decided he couldn't be coming from there.     “Alfur!!!" He turned around quickly and stared at the fence, it was coming from there!!. Just then he saw her, the last person he ever wanted to see, the Lykra jumped down from the fence and stared at him.     “Why did you call me?" They both said at the same time.
