Chapter 4: Drunk confessions

2036 Words
Kai I was in the middle of f.ucking a girl I’d met the other week at some club. She’d called me up for some fun, and I’d gone to hers, I couldn’t bring women back to the pack home, that was too risky. “Ugh! Kai, f***k that feels good, f***k me harder!” She moaned underneath me, her nails digging into my back as I gripped the metal bars at the head of the bed and slammed my myself into her as hard as I could. I was dripping with sweat and so was she. “You feel so f.ucking good,” I panted. The bed was rocking violently, and I could feel myself getting close to climax. “Show me your t.its baby,” I moaned. She unclipped her bra and let them spill free, big and bouncing as I f.ucked her. f***k I was going to come. “I’m coming,” I groaned. I brought her screaming first, she scratched my back, one more thrust, and I’d spill myself in to her. The phone rang, it f.ucking rang and I couldn’t ignore it. I was tempted, so f.ucking tempted, but Grayson’s name flashed up, and I knew he’d be p.issed if I didn’t answer and it was something important, he wasn’t one for technology so for him to be using a phone at all meant it must be important. “S.hit,” I breathed and pulled out of the woman whose name, like a jerk, I had forgotten. “What’s up?” I answered. “You’re breathing so hard I can f.ucking hear your heart beat from here, interrupt something did I?” Grayson asked sarcastically. “Yeah you did, what do you want.” “Can you go pick up Natasha from college.” It was more an order than a question. “Why can’t you?” “Apparently I embarrass her.” “Because of your pretty boy looks?” I teased. “f***k off Kai,” he warned. Laughing I said, “I’m hot too you know.” “Yeah, but you aren’t her dad.” Sighing, I started pulling my clothes on. “Fine, I’ll pick her up just let me get dressed.” I rushed out the door to the sound of the woman calling my name. “Kai!” Right. I turned back and quickly kissed her on the lips. “Sorry babe, family emergency, the s**x was great.” I grinned and left. I didn’t usually leave quite so rudely, but pack came first. When I got to the college I waited for her, but she never showed. That had me worried, she always showed up, she was a good girl and wasn’t one for disappearing or not letting us know what she was up to. I turned the engine off and got out the car. I pushed my way through the crowds of students all piling out, and eager to get home. A small group of girls no older than eighteen batted their eyes at me and giggled, I ignored them and kept looking around, but I couldn’t see Natasha anywhere. “You’re hot!” Someone called out to me, I didn’t even turn to look and kept searching. A couple more times I had someone either catcalling at me or giggling, someone had even tried asking for my number, and for the first time in my life I understood how Grayson felt. Whenever he went out he got attention, honestly he was better looking than me, he couldn’t even dine out without someone coming onto him, he hated it, hated the attention and right now, so did I. Panic slowly crept in, and I made my way to her class. There was an older lady in there, the teacher I presumed, and I asked, “have you seen Natasha?” She looked me over slowly, checking me out and then hid behind a mask of stern and sensible teacher. “Yes, she was here, she left with her friends. Is everything alright?” “Yep, I just thought I was meant to be picking her up today, my mistake.” I rushed off back outside and discreetly sniffed the air to see if I could pick up her scent. I couldn’t, there were too many people about to single her scent out among them. I searched the whole grounds for her, even went into the town, but there was no sign of her, no smell of her, nothing. It was getting late and growing dark. Growling I called Grayson, he was going to lose his s.hit. “I can’t find her.” “What!” He yelled. “Apparently she left with some friends, she’s probably just hanging out with them and forgot to tell us.” I heard him punch the wall, I’d seen him do it so many times over the years I knew his knuckles would be bleeding. I tried to think of something to calm him down, if he freaked out, then I’d freak out, and I was already on my way there. Then I remembered. “What about the tracking app on her phone? We can use that.” He stopped cursing. “Yeah, right, hold on.” Once I had the location I hung up and sped off. I reached the location and drove around the block a couple of times. There was a party going on at a house, but Natasha was a shy and sweet good girl there’s no way she’d be there. “Come on, babe, where are you,” I murmured, looking around. f***k it, I parked up and decided to check the house party. I c.racked my neck trying to control myself from the urge to smash the music into silence, it was so loud my damn ear drums were close to bursting. The smell of smoke clogged my nose and I tried not to throttle the two girls breathing it in my face as they tried to tell me how sexy I was. To werewolves smoking was such a turn-off, it smelt, no matter how much perfume you sprayed or how much gum you chewed after. It lingered on your clothes, your skin, your hair, in your mouth, I shivered just thinking about it. I’d kissed a smoker once, never again, I’d almost vomited on her. I was growing agitated, my skin itched with the want to change, I tried to calm myself, if anyone had sensory overload it was werewolves and to top it all off I was a very frustrated werewolf, my fun having been interrupted. I pushed my way inside and found Natasha jumping around in circles and doing a f.ucking chicken dance or some s.hit, laughing and having the time of her life. Glad one of us was. She jumped around, and her eyes glanced over my way, fell on me and then she froze. I said some humans were in tune with their instincts, not all. Natasha’s friend came bounding over to me all giddy while Natasha knew better by my p.issed off face and stayed where she was. “Kai, right!” Her friend shouted over the music. “Bring Natasha to me,” I said calmly, trying not to growl. “She’s having fun, why don’t you come dance with me?” She tried tugging me and I pulled my arm out of her grip. “No, bring Natasha here. We need to go, she has a family emergency.” Finally, she caught the air of seriousness from me and wide-eyed mumbled, “yeah, uh, yeah sure, I’ll just go get her.” She stumbled away from me and dragged a reluctant Natasha over. “Let’s go,” I gritted. She meekly followed me outside and tripped over the doorstep. I gripped her arm and led her to the car. It was quiet as I drove, and then I coldly asked, “you seriously had me hunting around for you on some wild goose chase and the whole time you were at a f.ucking party?” “Sorry,” she mumbled. “Sorry? F.ucking sorry? Is that all you have to say! I spent hours looking for you, worrying about you, I had to leave MY fun I was having thinking you were in a ditch somewhere or kidnapped again. Jesus, Natasha, you have any idea how f.ucking mad your dad is?” “You think he’ll s.pank me? Put me on the naughty step for a timeout?” She said it seriously and then burst into a fit of giggles. “Great, you’re drunk.” “I’m fine,” she said and giggled again. Shaking my head I drove her home and parked up. “Wait!” She said, grabbing my arm. Sighing, I coldly asked, “what?” “I love you.” I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, love you too, come on.” “No, I mean it Kai, I’m in love with you.” I looked at her. “You’ll be feeling like you’re in love with everyone right now, let’s go.” “No! I mean it!” She tried to kiss me and I leaned back. “Woah, down girl, you’re drunk.” “But I mean it!” “Ok, well, I’m sure if you mean it you can tell me again tomorrow when you’re sober. Now let’s go before your dad decides to kill the both of us.” I got her inside and she didn’t seem to be seeing the same Grayson I was seeing right now, he looked every bit the psychopath every werewolf thought he was—long story short, he cut up a couple of werewolves and sent the videos to prove what happens when you mess with our pack, and yes, they’d been alive when he’d done it, no pain relief—he was p.issed, big time, but Natasha seemed to think he was a f.ucking puppy because she threw herself into his arms. “Daddy!” He caught her as she flung her arms around him. “I love you daddy,” she slurred her words slightly. Smelling the alcohol on her, he sighed and rolled his eyes, when it came to Natasha he had a soft spot, she had always been a daddy’s girl. He was scary to everyone else and more wolf, but as a parent he was a big softie, her mum Lara had to be the disciplinarian, nine times out of ten if Lara said no to something and Natasha went and asked Grayson, he’d say yes. It had been a long time since she’d called him daddy, and he caved, I saw his eyes soften, the deadly killer gone. “You had me so f.ucking worried,” he murmured, stroking her hair away from her face. “Sorry, I was going to tell you, but I got distracted and just ended up forgetting.” “Come on baby, let’s get you to bed. Do you feel sick?” “No.” He led her towards the stairs, and she tripped up the first one and started giggling. Grayson wasn’t one for Patience, so he just picked her up and carried her up. When he’d tucked her in he came back down. “I’ll leave,” I said. “No you don’t,” he plucked the back of my shirt and yanked me away from the door. “Ah come on man, it’s not my fault!” He rose an eyebrow at me. “I never said it was, did I? Have a drink with me.” I narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously, he rarely drank alcohol. He poured two glasses of whiskey and slid one across to me. “Thanks, I know I interrupted one of your dates or whatever, I just…” he trailed off and took a sip of his drink. Ever since she’d disappeared with the mutt who’d injected her, he’d become even more overprotective of her. “It’s fine, I get it and pack always comes first to me, you know that.” He nodded, and we hung out for a little while before I headed back to my place.
