Leo walks back with us to the house, and then he says goodnight to the kids; I'm so confused; in fact, I've been confused ever since he saw Luke and didn't say anything.
My sweet, shy Karla gives him a hug; Liam high-fives him and tells him to come back the next day, and then finally Luke steps up and shakes his hand; he tells him goodnight and also tells him to come by soon.
Then, finally, it's my turn, and in my head, I'm thinking, this is finally it; this is the moment he's been waiting for to ask me about the kids.
