I drive back down to the cabin and when I get there, Zeo is coming out of the house.
“Where have you been man? I was just about to head over to the house.” He tells me as I get down from the car.
“Let's go in and I'll explain. What did you tell the girls?” I asked him.
“I told them what we found out in the office about Brie's father but I didn't mention anything about Scarlett. What did you do to her? Please tell me she isn't dead?” He asks me.
“No, she isn't but she is in pain, I can tell you that. Are the kids asleep?” I asked him, I told Karla that I would come back and I don't want her thinking that I'm someone who doesn't keep to my word.
