It all came down to one word "sorry". That's all she could say as she turned and began to walk down the street as darkness covered the street and the street light shone brightly on her face, she taught to herself "how will I face him now" she turned the door knob and walked quietly to her room "thank God no one is awake" she looked at the time it was past nine breathed a sigh of relief. She opened her room door and layed on the bed with her eye shut "why did you say that?" a voice spoke from a corner of the room. She bolted up and reached for the lights. "Answer me" the voice spoke out again. Almost shouting. " No reason" she replied. " How can you tell me no reason" she tried to keep her cool but she was barely holding up her voice began to shake " like you heard no reason". " Then explain this" he said throwing some pictures on the floor. It was her and her brother's friend. She couldn't say anything instead she kept backing to the door. "Trying to run huh!. This is what you always do you run away from your problems, you run away when things get complex, you run and never look back" he kept coming closer as her back hit the wall. She was already covered in fear but she knew that she had no where to run or to hide. " I never ran" " Then explain this" he pointed to the pictures. "what's going on, what are you guys keeping from me that you can't tell me" "there's nothing going on". His anger reached its peak and he held her tightly demanding an answer. Now her legs had gone jelly. He could see she was shaking in fear. "What was she going to say I don't know, what's going to happen when she tells me". That was all what was going on his mind he couldn't think of anything other than getting the truth out of her or maybe he already knows it but just want to hear it from her. She stuttered unable to say a single word. She was interrupted by a phone call which was her saving grace. "Hello can you hear me". I will wait for you downstairs". The call went to voice message which only angered him. Now she had no where to run than just to tell him the truth he had waited so long to hear. Few moments later he stormed out of the room and she chased after him what was the truth that made him this angry.
