POV: Silvia Silvia didn't recognize where she was, her eyes looked around, she attempted to get up, but couldn't move her right leg. “ Oh, you are awake, let me go inform your husband. He's been anxious since last night” Silvia recognized the voice as a nurse. “Husband?” As Silvia tried to recover her memories, the events played on her mind like a stab to the heart. “Seems like James really caught up to me,” she recalled that night, how James got up on his feel like an immortal. Of course, what could a trembling hand do to him? She also remembered running off to the street, when she saw an approaching car, which made her slow down on her steps, wishing the car could hit her. She wants to escape, she can't let her uncle or aunt get to her first, she struggles to move her legs. “ I need to leave here” were the words she said at every step she struggled, just then the nurse came back with yet an unfamiliar face. “Where are you headed to? Relax yourself, your legs don't need to strain now. In the meantime, will I leave you to your husband?” said the nurse as she looked at the man she had come in, who nodded his head to her. Silvia's eyes raised to look at the man being introduced as her husband, a tall dark young man, his appearance screamed luxury, he didn't look like her uncle at all. “You’ve got tears in your eyes even when unconscious,” he referred to Silvia's tears that had been flowing down freely like rain drops. “When did you become my husband, did they send you to get your own test of me?” Silvia let out those bitter words. “I am sorry, my driver was reckless in his driving and ran you over. I would soon clear the misunderstanding of being your husband to the doctor very soon. I just didn't want to prolong the questioning as I wanted you to get treated. I didn't get anything on you. Can tell me your address and I will let your husband know your situation?” Silvia listened to the young man explain to himself, ‘liars’ she calls them. “I don't have a husband, I don't have anyone, so it just led me out of this hospital, and I'll find my way myself,” she said, looking straight into the young man's eyes. “You don't need to be afraid of me. My name is Nelson, I am not harmful, and you don't have to be like this if not for yourself, but for your unborn baby, you can sort out your differences with your people.” Silvia needed to hear those words again. “What nonsense are you saying, what child? Yet again the young man said those words. Silvia laughed. She kept on laughing that it felt uncomfortable for Nelson, and he had to call the attention of the doctor, who injected medicine into her drip, making her fall asleep. POV: Nelson Nelson couldn't fathom the situation. When he saw the young lady he carried in his arms on the hospital bed last night, he didn't go back home that night, he knew her, his ’amused feeling’, it pained him to see her in that state. Funny enough, he had been thinking and praying to meet her again. Now she's right before him, ‘pregnant’, he's been having fantasies with someone's wife. He knew she had a problem, he didn't, his heart didn't want to leave her alone, he was going to get to the root of the matter, he promised himself, even if it would be the only thing he could do for her. “Son, what happened? I called your number multiple times?” asked Mrs. Gloria as soon as she saw Nelson coming upstairs. “ Mom, it is a long story. I will explain in detail later. Help me tell the maids to prepare fruit, a delicious meal, enough please, and pack it up,” said Nelson and headed to his room as he kissed his mom's cheeks. When he got to his room, he met Arike dressing up, he took off his shoes and picked up his towel, heading to the bathroom. “Nelson, you don't have any words for me,” Arike said as she followed Nelson to the bathroom, but his action of closing the door passed a message that he wanted to be alone there. When Nelson was done with his shower that lasted for an hour, Arike was waiting in his room, patiently, this time dressed in a mini gown, showing off her slender body. “I have waited for you all night, babe, and now you don't look at me,” said Arike, leaving traces of her fingers on Nelson's wet body. “Not now, Arike, I have business to do,” Nelson said, obviously uninterested, he searched his wardrobe and chose a white top along with his jacket and baggy trousers. Arike kept on staring at him, and back to her body in her words: “Can't you see I want you, Nelson, a minute won't do any harm?” Nelson ignored her and headed out of his room. “Eunice, if the food is ready, give it to my driver,” said Nelson to his cook. “ My lion, where are you off to?” asked Mr. Gloria. “ I'll be back mom, don't wait,” Nelson said as he walked towards his car, his expressions screamed excitement, eagerness and uncertainty. Once again, he said to himself, ‘Oh heart, calm down’ this was about the 6th time his heart skimmed a beat. He wondered if he was overdressed or underdressed. He looked into the mirror more than twice when he stepped out of his car, that the driver had to look in his direction. “ Sir, should I go get other clothes back home?” “Let's proceed,” Nelson said as he snapped out of his dream world. He proceeded to the hospital with the food flasks on both his hands, one could say he had a banquet being prepared. POV: Silvia The ceiling fan just moved in a circular form, keeping Silvia's eyes busy, her thoughts blank. “You must be hungry, I got some food for you.” To the direction of the voice, Silvia looked to set her eyes on the one who earlier introduced himself as Nelson, her husband. Her lips looked like they were linked with glue, didn't move, didn't open. “Common you have to eat something. The doctor recommended it for you and your child,” said Nelson, having not the slightest idea what those words would do to Silvia. “Can you take it out?” Silvia spoke up, looking into Nelson's eyes. “ I can't take the food out, you really have to eat something.” “No, I mean ‘it’, on my womb, I don't want it.” Her words silenced Nelson, he became mute, as he headed to lift her bed, settled on a chair and opened a flood flask to feed her. ‘When you are done eating, we'll talk about it,' Nelson said, which Silvia saw as a tactic to make her eat. “I want to be left alone,” she said once again, looking up at the ceiling fan. “Atleast some fruits would do.” “What do you want from me? You should have left me to die, or did he send you to tear up the remaining pieces of my mind and make me a psychopath?” Silvia spoke once again with multiple emotions, the tears streamed again, freely like raindrops. She didn't want his presence, his kindness appeared to her as fake, the same as her aunt “Vampires” she calls them and pulled her face away to the other end. Her worries were carrying the baby of her demon. Ending her life was an option, but she didn't want to suffer on earth and suffer yet again in hell. She looked at the fan, a suicide tool.
