The weekend came for the frat party, It's your first college party, you and Ella are getting ready. You're a little nervous, Zack still hadn't brought up the party to you. "How are you feeling?" Ella asks. "A little nervous to be honest." You reply. "It will all be okay, come on, let's go." Ella grins and heads out with you. You and Ella head over to Beta frat for the party, You spot someone you wished wasn't there, it was inevitable he was going to be there. Nate... "You good? You look like you've seen a ghost." Ella asks, concerned. "Yeah, just an old friend, I wasn't expecting to see him here." You explain. Ella looks over your shoulder, then smiles. "Kain, Zack! should we get this party started?" They laugh and nod in unison. "Beer pong?" Ella asks. "Sure." You reply, still a little nervous. You, Ella, Kain and Zack set up the ping pong table. "Boys vs girls." Ella blurts. You and Ella take position opposite the boys on the other side of the ping pong table. After about fifteen minutes of throwing a ping ping ball between you all Ella screams. "In your face Kain!" You and Ella win against them. "Let's do shots." Ella dashes off to grab shots for you all. You take the shots, a few hours later and a lot of drinks later, you're feeling tipsy. "I feel dizzy." You whisper to Ella since the music is so loud. "You're drunk, sit down new girl." You sit on the sofa. "I'll get you some water." Ella disappears to get you water. You sit awhile, Ella hasn't returned, you decide to find Zack. You see him, kissing Taylor. Your heart shatters, tears prick the corner of your eyes, Zack hasn't noticed you this has to be the reason he never told you about the party. That jerk! You march over to Zack and Taylor, you spin Zack to face you. "Are you joking me?" rage burns in the pit of your stomach. "Olivia, it's not what it looks like." Zack begins to panic. "What did you just accidentally fall on to her lips?" You can feel the tears creeping again. "I-erm-no..." Zack stutters. "Then what the hell is going on." You're hurting as you ask this. "I thought she was you, it's dark, it's an honest mistake to make." Zack tries to poorly excuse his actions. "That's BS you knew it was me!" Taylor interjects. "You didn't refuse." Zack tries to blame Taylor. "Because I didn't know Olivia was your girlfriend." Taylor bats her eyelashes innocently. "That's BS because I told you we were dating but I'm his ex-girlfriend now. You're welcome to him." You rush out of the party, betrayal shattering you. You run across campus, you feel someone grab your wrist. "Leave me alone." You sob. "I wanted to check on you." Nate remarked. "Why?" You ask him, stunned by his sudden care for you. "Because you don't deserve that, I've been trying to talk to you all night, to clear the air, but there was never a right moment." Nate explains. "Then let's talk." You dry your eyes. "Sure, I'm sorry for flying off the handle at you, you tried to protect my dad." Nate smiles. "I'm sorry Sam did that to your dad." You reply. "If it wasn't my dad, it would have been you and I don't know what I would have done then." Nate replied sadness filled his voice. "Please don't think like that." You try to reassure him. "No, you're right, Zacks a douche." Nate reverts the subject to Zack. "Yeah he is." You laugh. "What are you gonna do?" Nate asks. "Well obviously its over." You explain. "If he gives you trouble come find me." Nate smiles. "Sure." You sigh sadly. You head up to your dorm with Nate, Ella is already here. "You're back already?" You smile at her. "Yeah, sorry Kain wanted to call it a night." Ella looks sad with guilt for leaving you. "It's cool." You smile. Ella looks at Nate then back at you. "Where's Zack?" Ella asks, shocked. "We broke up." You sigh sadly. "Why?" Ella still looks shocked. "I caught him kissing Taylor." You explain. "And you brought a rebound home." Ella smirks nodding towards Nate. "No! Nate's an old friend." You look at her with horror that she would even come out with that comment. "Oh, that old friend." Ella giggles. "Yes." You giggle back. "What old friend?" Nate stands confused. "She's drunk, ignore her, thanks for tonight and walking me up, see you later." You hug Nate. "Later, nerd." Nate heads out. "Did you guys kiss? Is he a long lost lover, what? I sense tension." Ella begins with the twenty questions. "Nate was my best friend, we grew apart and hated each other, we just got back in touch with each other." You explain to her. "Sure, well get some rest because we have to kick ass tomorrow." She smiles. "Oh, the football game." You scramble to get into your bed.
