Tomorrow came sooner than later. Something I was not aware of was upon my doorsteps and I was not prepared for it. I was anxious and a little lightheaded too. I couldn't sleep all night with the anxiety of what's to come. Even when Alexander joined me in bed late at night, I was all awake, pretending to be asleep. Now the day was here and as I sat up, my heart kept beating out loud while my hands were perspiring profoundly. I was fretting with unknown fears when a hand gently caressed my back and next a hand covered my waist and I was all smothered in someone’s tight embrace. I pretended to not care who it was as I rested my worn-out self on the soothing body of my beloved husband.
