You're just a fragile little one

“I had a chat with your pack.” The new Alpha said when he came to my room. Leaning on the door, he gives me a once over. Hearing his words caused me to look up in shock. “You spoke with my pack?” I couldn't help but ask. Initially, I intended to ignore him until he leaves, but his words caused me to turn to him fully. “I did. I need to get to know my new pack.” He smirked, “as an Alpha, isn't it my duty to know who my pack members are?” He asked smugly. “Suit yourself.” I turn my face to the side. “One of the children asked of you. Kira, to be exact.” “Don't you dare hurt those children!” I growl at him, standing from the bed, I ball my hands into fists as I glared down at him. “Don't you ever dare touch them?” He might do whatever he pleases with me, and I won't complain about it, but the same can't be said for those kids. Should he hurt them in any way, I'll make sure I kill him and feed his remains to the fowls of the air. “Calm down. Why should I harm the children?” He raised a brow at me, “I know I did you wrong by taking your pack from you, but that doesn't mean I'm a heartless man who harms children.” “You're much more than heartless, you're a beast. One that shouldn't be allowed to roam the Earth.” “A beast?” He scoffed at my words as he strolled into my room as if he owns the place. “You've not seen what a beast I am. I'm more of a beast when it comes to personal kinds of stuff,” he takes a step closer to me. The closer he got to me, the more I take a step back until I almost tripped on a chair on the way. “Ouch!” I groan in pain as I grab my aching leg. “Are you hurt?” He ran towards me. Removing my hands from my aching leg that just made a collision with the chair, he looked at the wound. Slowly rubbing soothing circles around the wound, he blew on it as if that can cause it to stop paining me. “It's alright.” He says in a whisper, his voice taking a more caring edge as he kept on rubbing circles around a wound that's no longer paining me. Watching as he lovingly rubbed those circles, I felt my heart lunge into my throat. The organ trying to run away from my Body. An emotion I'd never felt before took hold of me, and that caused me to hastily remove his hands from my leg. Blushing like a fool, I tried to explain my hasty behaviour to him. “It's just a scratch. You don't have to act as if it's a fatal wound. Look,” I turn my legs, so I was showing him where I had the scratch. “The scratch has healed on its own. You have no reason whatsoever to be worried about it.” “Why shouldn't I be worried about you?” He stood to his feet, “You're just too fragile for me not to worry about you.” “Fragile?” I scoff at him. “You dare call me fragile?” Currently, the good feeling I felt about him a moment ago has evaporated, and in its place is one of unrestrained anger. “Yes. You're a fragile-looking thing. One that needs to be protected from those who might try to take advantage of your fragile moment.” He made to touch my cheeks, but I slap his hand off me. “You dare call me fragile?” I glare at him, “I'll show you what a fragile male is capable of doing!” Unexpectedly, I kicked him. Making use of my Alpha powers, I race towards me him. Kicking the stunned Alpha, I made to punch him, but he stopped the hit. He captured my right hand in his, and with his leg, he prevented me from kicking him. I try to utilize my left hand to fight against his hold on me, but he captured that one as well. Expertly twisting me, so he had me in his grip, he locked both of my hands with one of his. Locking my legs between his, he brought me closer to him. His face was a hair breath from mine. I felt awkward. The proximity isn't the only thing that's making it awkward. The way he held me to him made it feel like we were sharing an intimate moment. It made it seem as if we were in a sort of intimate meeting. The thoughts of that made me blush like a fool. “Let go of me!” I fought his hold of me, wriggling as I tried to get him to let go of me, but he held on strongly. “You're just a fragile little one.” He said with a smile, “you know you can't fight against me. Give up, little one.” “You dare call me little one?” I tried to remove my hand from his, and the force I made use of made him lose grip of the hold he has on me, his legs slipping in the process. Instead of falling backwards, he fell forward, and that made me the unlucky one. We both fell to the floor, his hand cradling my head to prevent it from having a collision with the floor. Stunned from the fall, I look up at him. My eyes got huge as I noticed the position the fall put us in. His hand is still cradling my head, his body flat on mine. I blush at how close our bodies are. I know nothing is going on between us now, but anyone who comes in currently won't have the same thoughts as us. “Aren't you one stubborn little one?” He pinched my nose with his left hand. “Stop that!” I tried to swat his hand off my nose, but his body kept my hands captive.
