Jason
The blow I got from hearing that she left with him, is really hard to get over, but I have been using this compound to release some of my pent up aggression.
After speaking to Sipho I went back into the woods and shifted into my wolf and ran. I ran for hours with those 4 words going through my head. Those four little words that just shattered my world into a million pieces of nothing.
SHE LEFT WITH HIM.
I kept trying to out run them or maybe be fast enough to outrun those words, because I could understand them, or what they meant. How could Mary-Katheryn leave with Dominic voluntarily and shutting her sister out, that's not like the Mary-Katheryn I know. and leaving with him is like her either.
SHE LEFT WITH HIM
When i got back to the compound i went to General Sifiso and told him that I would be staying with them from now on I also told them I never want to hear anything more that is going on in my pack. If these G.I.Joe people want me to join their war. Well they can now sigh me up. Got nothing else to live for, so what the heck!
General Sifiso introduced me to Private Raphael Martins, who was going to be my personal trainer to try and get me to advance faster in combat training as I've had non before now.
By day 3 I was getting tired of the non-stop meditations and 2 hour runs for conditioning that got me nowhere. Since I've never had combat training I don't get what we are conditioning if it hasn't been learnt yet. Conditioning. I'm starting to hate that word.
"General Sifiso I am getting sick and tired of the mental training. I said I would stay here if you trained me in combat. If you can't do even that, then I will leave." I said as I barged into his office.
"Yes sir that's him... Yes sir we will... Safe travels sir." He said then put the phone down and looked at me. We stared at each other with no-one saying saying a thing. "Do you know how to knock, your highness?" He said as his face started to turn darker in anger, but I was over that by now.
As if that would scare me. "I want a real combat lesson tomorrow or I walk and you wont have your precious Royal Commander." His face went from angry to blank in a split second. "Yes, I know about that. I want a real combat trainer by tomorrow General." I said then walked out of the office.
The next day when i walked into the inside gym, Private Raphael was waiting there for me. So I turned back around not even acknowledging his greeting and went to the clearing I last saw the warriors training in. Maybe if I join them I will be able to pound things into the ground, or just punch something. "Wait your highness. Where are you going?" I didn't answer him just kept going. He can follow me and see what training really is and start to train me.
Once we reached the training ground with Private Raphael following a distance behind, the same thing that happened yesterday happened again. They stopped, looked at me and bowed "Nkosi." The warriors said like yesterday.
This time since I knew what would get them up I didn't waste time and said "Phakamani." I saw where Private Musa was and immediately went to him. "I am going to join you today. Pick a sparing partner for me." I said to Private Musa then looked at the assembled warriors in front of me.
I saw someone with a familiar face. "Or better yet I'll choose one myself." I went into the crowd heading for my opponent. "You will spar with me warrior." I said to the guy with the familiar face and he had the aura of an Alpha.
"Sir, I don't think that should be your first sparing partner." This was said by Private Raphael. He tried coming towards me, but when I turned to look at him, something in my eyes must have told him I meant business because he backed off and let me be.
I turned back to my opponent "Will you teach me how to fight then?" I tied for a smile but I don't think it came out right, because I couldn't feel myself right then.
"As the prince wishes." He said and bowed to me. This warriors face was starting to irritate me, and his voice when he spoke made my see with red edges to my vision. I just stood there looking at him. He took a few steps away from me and the other warriors in the clearing moved away from us and out of my vision. He got into a fighting stance, feet slightly apart, body turned to the side, hands up, one up near his face the other down low, face to the front with the head slightly down looking ready to take me on and I know I should try to copy what he is doing, but its like the more I look at him trying to place him. The more my body wont listen to my commands.
He was the one to move first, he went for my abdomen, and I tried to dodge him, but it was like my body was moving in quicksand, and he got me. He seemed surprised to have landed the punch and jumped farther back. He looked at the spectators as if looking for permission. He must have got it because he came at me again. This time with a combination of a kick and a punch, and still my body wouldn't move right. The red edges kept on growing the more he came at me. At one point he seemed to have given up coming at me full force because he looked to the spectators again and something clicked to me. What he reminded me of. Then my vision went full red.
He came at me again and this time when he went to punch my face I was able to dodge but my hands were still sluggish, they wouldn't throw a punch. That made me even more angrier because I really wanted to lay the punch on that betraying face. HOW COULD SHE!!! Then I felt like my body was moving too fast for my brain which was buzzing like there was a bee party in my head.
I continued to forge on with my body rebelling against me, then the buzzing felt like it was coming out of my hands, immediately it stopped, I could keep up with his punches. Then I stepped back looked for an opening then decided to break his foundation by swiping his feet. As I went to swipe his leg, a tree root got there before me and took him down. I could use that to my advantage and tried to gain a upper hand by hitting him when he was getting up, but Sipho got in the middle.
"That's enough, bro." He said putting his hands up to protect the betrayer. I growled at him and took a step forward, and he as well went down.
That's new. But the betrayer went to Sipho and a loud growl came out of me. As I growled the whole meadow shook. Trees toppled, the wind picked up and the earth shook. Then my eyes refocussed on the betrayer. I need to defeat the betrayer. I need to take the betrayer down. I need to teach the betrayer a lesson.
NO-ONE BETRAYS ME. NO-ONE.
The wind surrounded the betrayer and separated him from Sipho and the others. It picked up around both of us, like it was building a fighting arena for me and the betrayer. The wind tornado surrounding him stopped, but the outer ring wind kept on going. The betrayer looked around panicked, then looked at me.
"Look man, I don't want to fight you anymore." He said but his words reached me as if they went through a long windy tunnel first. I took his earlier fighting stance, ready to take the betrayer out, so no-one else will feel betrayed by them.
I went quick and fast looking for the quickest way to finish him. I went for his jugular first, but he blocked my attack. "Sir, please snap out of it." Then I went for the head, if I can knock him out I can finish the job later. He was able to dodge my head attacks too. This kept making me angry, and the angrier I got the more my vision kept having green flecks show up.
Use the wind
With that thought I focused on the wind making a barrier between us and the others. I brought it to me to make it into armour around my body. As the wind formed into my armour I looked at my hands I needed a sword and shield, on my right hand a wind sword started to form. I watched as it started with the hilt, it had beautiful vines intertwined together that was shinning like the brightest green gemstone. The wind kept going and made the blade of the sword. It also was shinning green and it looked very sharp. It also had an emblem on the blade near the hilt, it looked like a moon made into a bow with an arrow ready to fire.
On my left hand the wind swirled like a fan picking up speed, once the swirling was firmer the shield had a bigger version of the emblem on it, like the one on the sword. The shield was green as well. I looked at myself. I was wearing green armour, holding a green sword and green shield. Well green does mean go. So here I go.
I look up to see that the betrayer is trying to leave with Sipho. A growl sounds in the clearing. 2 guys run in from my peripheral vision and take Sipho away from the betrayer. Then like my armour I go. When I move I feel like I'm flying with my sword in front I attack the betrayer. A sword flies into his hands from somewhere and he is able to block my attack. We keep going and I see that he is a very good swordsman because I can hardly land a hit.
"Jason! Stop!" I think i heard my father in the tunnel of my hearing, but I dismiss that and keep attacking the betrayer. I am the one attacking now and he keeps defending and his mouth keeps moving but nothing enters my brain.
"Jason, son! You need to stop attacking him!" My dad again, but what would he be doing here. Is my head playing tricks on me again. No, the betrayer must die. A growl sounds again. This time I felt my body change, I felt the pleasure and pain, the torture and ecstasy of changing. I growled again and I was standing in my wolf form but the green armour had morphed with me.
I moved to attack but this time my dad ran into the clearing and stopped in front of the betrayer. I growled at him. How is he here? Why is he standing in front of the betrayer. "Jason, son, you need to calm down." I growled at him. "Son you don't want to attack Jean-Blaze. Please calm yourself." He said taking small steps towards me. Another growl came out of me, this one bigger. Who was Jean-Blaze? The betrayer must die. "Son... Stand down! Thats an order!" A bigger growl left me. He does not give out the orders. I DO!
The buzzing returned to my head with the green light getting brighter.
I saw my mate sitting and the floor of a dinning hall with food spilled all over her, and a lady with white eyes holding her hand. The lady then said
A BATTLE BETWEEN THE MOON AND DEATH
SHADOWS THEY SHALL BECOME
IN THE SHADOWS THEY SHALL RISE
COME LOST PRINCE BRING FORTH YOUR KINGDOM
FOR IN THE SHADOWS THEY SHALL RISE
RISE MY KING BRING THE SHADOWS BACK TO THE LIGHT
FOR ALL SHALL BE REVEALED IN THE LIGHT
After she said that the light got too bright, blinding me. When it subsided I was on the floor in my clothes with no armour, sword or shield and the warriors where all around me looking shocked and scared to approach. "Son are You okay." My dad said to me, while offering me a hand to get up.
"Dad? What are you.. doing... here?..." My world turned dark.
