The Crazy One

One Dark and damp night a woman with brown hair came in to visit her boyfriend when he didn't show up to dinner at their favorite restaurant. When She asked for him the nurse at the Desk said he had left with Sarah from billing 20 mins ago. Her face turned Pale as she ran out to her car bursting into tears. I'll get him for this she say's aloud as she starts her car. She drove home, she unlocked the apartment door placed her purse on the stand by the door then hung her coat up. She noticed the bedroom light was on so she walks slowly to the bedroom but only to stop 5 feet from the door. She yells " is someone in there?" The voice was deep it said "honey your home I was wondering where you were" her eyes got wide and she runs in the room. She stares at her boyfriend and says "where the hell were you? I went by your work and you were with Sarah from billing" he looks at her like she's went completely nuts then says "I eat lunch or dinner with her and a group of friends depending on the time we have left. You don't seriously think somethings going on with her and I?" She looks at him again with a twisted face. " I don't know. Do you?" He sits up in bed and looks at her in a serious way " Claire she's f*****g married to Ben from ER. I'd never cheat on you." Claire walked away from him and then back into the room. " Claire do you believe me? I love you and I want to marry you some day but we have to get past you thinking I'm cheating all the time." She sits at the bottom of the bed. "I know I'm sorry but i have a way i can stop it. He looks at her puzzled. " how do we fix it baby?" She moves towards him and says "like this" she stabs him in the throat once and then in his chest she stabbed him several more times. As she is stabbing him he starts to think back to last summer before he met her and remembered reading the paper about a women who was taking advantage of men and having relationships with then killing them brutally without hesitation. She looks down and says "how's this for fixing it Jon?" Blood was running down her hands and the splatter from it was all over her. He trys to catch his breath and the last thing he said was "It's you! you are the Man Slaughter!" She took one more look at him and She decided that once she was done she was going to to get a showe then cleaned the shower with bleach. She took her shower then walked back into the bedroom ; took her time getting dressed and then called the cops. "911 what your emergency? " hi I live at 12770 Lady Lake Dr Apt B. I stabbed my boyfriend he's dead he tried to hurt me I defended myself. I didn't know what to do." Claire was telling the dispatcher this as she was sobbing. Dispatcher says "alright just stay put and we will have someone there in a few minutes" just then Claire dropped the call. She knew she had to make it look like her boyfriend was trying to hurt her so her instinct was to punch herself so she bruises. Claire took a the knife she stabbed Jon with and cut herself on the arm and leg with the opposite hand so it looks like Jon did it. Suddenly the police arrived and she started dabbing the blood off of her and cleaning them since she already took a shower. She hears a man's voice "open up police" she opens the door the cop that answered was one of her family friends. He says Claire what happened?" She explained what happened as she crys, hugging the officer. Officer Fields said "Now now Claire everything will be alreight". The other officers search the house for evidence they go to the bathroom and notice their is blood in the sink , shower and floor they grab samples and continue to look around. The coroner comes in gives the time of death but doesn't say anything right away. He checks over the body notices that from what Claire says to what he's seeing is not consistent. The coroner asked to speak with the chief alone he tells him "I don't believe her story as time of death doesnt add up with when the call came through" The chief reads Claire her rights as being handcuffed and placed in the squad car. Will Claire be found guilty or will she be released?
