My morning was loaded with appointments, I had numerous prospective clients scheduled for today, and I tried everything I could to forget about Mark's whereabouts and the way he spoke during the morning, but I can't deny it, I'm concerned, and I tried to call him several times but it went straight to voicemails.
"Can I come in?" Mia inquired as she walked through the door.
"You're already in, babe," I said, smirking.
"Well, I don't know if I am allowed to ask, but did things go well with Mark?" she says as she sits in the chair in front of my desk.
