“Mia how about you try on my beige dress?" We've been sitting here for about half an hour and Mia still hasn't decided what to wear on her date tonight, though she hasn't admitted it's a date.
Her fear of appearing simply beautiful without exaggerating her efforts reminded me of the time when I wanted to look beautiful and catch Mark's attention without exerting too much effort.
"Why would Jack invite me out?" Mia questioned, turning to face me.
