AN EVENING STROLL

Alicia stepped out of the bathroom feeling refreshed she found rows of beautiful outfits, jewellery expensive perfumes and footwear in the closet and made her pick.

Zeke sure had great taste, there were lots of beautiful clothes but Alicia was not one to dress too flamboyantly she liked to keep it casual and simple, and anything suited her for she was already naturally blessed with beauty

She spotted a little black dress and took it out, she immediately fell in love with the piece of clothing and decided to wear it. She tried it on and it was the perfect size it fitted her body so well. How did he know her perfect size she thought to herself with a smile. She added a pair of nude ballet flats since she would be going for a stroll she wanted to wear something simple and comfortable, she let her hair down, added a few jewelry, wore perfume and was ready.

She walked to the door and opened it half-heartedly, She hadn't been outside the room before and this scared and excited her at the same time. She stepped out and found herself in a large hallway, she began walking down the hall till she found the stairs leading down. She gathered all the courage in her and started descending the stairs.

Finally reaching the bottom she saw Lilian giving some of the helpers' orders, the place was rowdy as a lot of people were moving here and there, and the moment they noticed her present they all became quiet and stared at her.

The females stared at her with contempt while the males stared at her with bloodlust.

Alicia was visibly shaking, she turned back and began running back upstairs when she heard a familiar growl that stopped her in her tracks, It sounded like a warning and everyone trembled, they stopped staring and either ran off or continued their assigned duty, she had heard it before that day in the woods, it was Zeke.

She turned back and saw him walking in, a certain kind of joy filled her heart, she didn't know why she was so happy he was back she had just met this man after all but a part of her knew she could trust him that she was safe with him. She held herself back from running to him and just stayed rooted to the ground with a smile on her face.

Zeke took one good look at her and he was enthralled. Despite how casual she looked, he could swear that she was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen.

She had long flowing brown hair that cascaded down her shoulders, her eyes were deep, rich brown, like chocolate with long lashes, her smile was warm and inviting she had smooth, porcelain skin glowing with health, her cheeks were slightly flushed giving her a natural rosy glow, her skin was clear without blemishes. She was radiant and right now she was all he could see.

Zeke cleared his throat breaking the silence "I see someone is ready for a stroll" he said unable to take his eyes off her.

"Yes I am," Alicia replied as she climbed down the remaining stairs and stood in front of him.

"Then shall we," Zeke asked offering his hand

"We sure shall" replied Alicia taking his hand.

He led her outside the main building, and they walked around the spacious compound, "I want to take you somewhere," it was evening but it seemed like day because of the lightening."An Alpha only reacts this way when around his true mate

"It's beautiful out here, said Alicia with a huge smile on her face. This Pleased Zeke a lot,

"You think so," He asked looking at her.

She looked at him with Doe eyes and nodded yes in the cutest way possible

This made Zeke's heart skip a beat, why was he reacting to her this way, everything she did had a huge effect on him. She wasn't a werewolf and so can't possibly be his true mate so why?

"I want to take you somewhere", said Zeke, and stopped walking he turned to her and continued " I want to take you to my special place".But not tonight until then let's go visit the garden.

Alicia was disappointed, she was excited to see his special place but why did he say it if he wasn't going to show it to her tonight.?" You shouldn't have talked about it then" she grumbled pouting. She looked so cute and once again his heart skipped a beat

This little dove of mine seems to have a strong effect on me. If he had his way he would mark her as his mate here and now cause she was driving his inner wolf crazy, and she didn't even realize what effect her actions had on me, he cursed inwardly as he watched her strolling off innocently.

He walked up to her and held her hand in his as they strolled on the grass towards the garden.

After walking for a while

"Here we are", said Zeke The garden was enormous, her mouth flew open in awe, the flowers were so pretty, the spring, the decorative statues everything was phenomenal.

"Oh my, this is amazing, Alicia twirled in circles and ran off to touch anything she could reach, appreciating their beauty.

He stood and admired her from a distance with a smile, he liked how happy she was, It made him proud knowing he was the one who made her that happy.

But suddenly his mood changed, and his face became painted in guilt.
