Daniel couldn’t sleep. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw the hooded killer standing over the lifeless body, staring directly at him after the camera flash. He knew the photograph on his camera had become more than just evidence—it had become a death sentence.
Meanwhile, Detective Marcus Hayes examined the crime scene photos once again. One detail caught his attention: a silver ring engraved with a raven symbol. It matched the blurry image Daniel had captured. Marcus suspected the murders were connected to a powerful criminal organization that had remained hidden for years.
Across the city, the female assassin received a new assignment. “Find the photographer,” her handler ordered. “Recover the camera. Leave no witnesses.” She silently loaded her weapon before disappearing into the night.
Unaware that he was being hunted, Daniel left his apartment to meet Marcus at an abandoned warehouse where they hoped to examine the photograph in secret. As they arrived, they sensed they were not alone. A shadow moved across the upper walkway, followed by the sound of footsteps echoing through the darkness.
Marcus drew his pistol while Daniel gripped his camera tightly. Before either of them could react, a gunshot shattered the silence. The bullet narrowly missed Marcus, striking a steel beam instead. The hunt had begun, and the enemy was closer than either of them had imagined.
