My father pulls up to the school. Bye honey have a good day. He called out as I got out of the car. Bye dad. I call back out. I walk up the stairs to when Jenna runs down them with an excited expression on her face. Omg guess what Vic!!! She almost screams in my face. Okay girl calm down girl what happened. I ask excitedly for what she was gonna say. Me and her walk into the school as she tells me. Okay so 2 things one I got into cheer did you? She asks hoping I did. Omg no I went to bed early and I forgot. I don’t know I didn’t check yet. I say feeling embarrassed for forgetting. Well check girl! She says above an inside voice.

I pull my phone out and go to my sss. As I open it I see an email from the cheer coach. I scream. Omg I got in!!!! I was so excited I get to do cheer with my new friend. Me and Jenna start jumping up and down from excitement. Okay what was the second thing? I say while we stop jumping. Oh right so I got invited to this party and was wondering if you wanted to come with me? She asked hoping I would accept her invitation. I’ve never been to a party. I was scared and it showed on my face. Oh uh sure yeah. I say clearly nervous. What’s wrong? She asked noticing my expression. Uh nothing I just I’ve never been to party before. I pause not knowing how she would react. Omg your fine girl I’ll be with you the whole night. You got nothing to worry about. She says reassuring me. Okay I can’t wait! Jenna and I start jumping up and down again.

Okay we got to get to the lockers let’s go. Jenna says taking my hand leading us through the crowd of talking high school students. We arrive at the our lockers. I open my locker and put my book bag in it. I grab my history book before closing my locker. Okay let’s go to history now. I say turning to look at her. As we turn around to head to history I catch a glimpse of the mysterious guy from yesterday. Our eyes meet in eye contact. Jenna then drags me to history making us lose eye contact. We make it to history a few minutes later. As we walk in Mr. Simpson greets us.

Hello children. He announces as the class fill up. We are going to be watching a CNN interview today. He walks over to turn the lights off and start the video. An hour later the bell rings for our next class. We al get up and head to our next class. Bye Jenna see you at lunch. I call out as we turned around. Bye Vic! She called back out. In English we work on our projects. After English the bell rung to go to lunch. I walk past everyone and head out the door to the hallway. Boo! Jenna say jumping in my face. Omg what is wrong with you! I jump frightened. Jenna bursted out laughing. You should have seen your face it was priceless. She laughs uncontrollably.

After that we headed to lunch. So what trash food we having today? I ask making a disgusted look on both of our faces. I don’t even know. She says trying to look past everyone. So how was English Vic? She asked looking at me. Pretty good I worked on my project. What about you how was math? I ask. She looked at me with an unexpected face. I hate math now like the teacher is terrible. She complained. Like how you gonna give us 2 packets of work on the second day of school. When you get your work we gotta help each other. She added after sighing and stepping further up in line. Oh yeah I forgot I got her. Why she kinda look like Cindy Lu hue? I asked as Jenna bursted out laughing. Omg Vic! Why you right thought?! Jenna says while laughing.

We get our lunch and sit at our table. We laugh and talk the whole lunch talking about the math teacher. After lunch we went to the rest of our classes. The bell rings to signal the end of the day. Jenna runs to me happy. Vic! Can you come to my house to get ready for the party? She asked clearly excited for the party. Yeah just let me ask my dad. I text my dad and ask him about it. He said if I don’t drink or do anything bad then he’s okay with it. Yeah I can! I said excitedly. Yay let’s go! She said dragging me to her mom car that was waiting for her.

When we arrive at the house she drags me to her room. Okay what’s your favorite color. She asks heading to her closet. Dark green. I say walking to her bed and sitting down. Okay here. She pulls out a dark green tight dress that goes down to the mid thighs. She also pulls out black thigh high boots. I put them on while she puts on a red dress and black heels. We both look at each other in awe. Omg girl we look cute! She says giggling. But now we gotta do our hair. We gotta curl it. She added pulling out a curlier. She curls my hair and then she curls her own. While she curls her hair I do my make up. I put on concealer. Black winged eyeliner and green eyeliner under my eyes, and some nude color lipstick. Jenna puts black winged eyeliner and red eyeliner under her eyes and a red color lipstick.
