Chapter 1 -Puberty. Seth POV. Hitting puberty is a big milestone in people's lives it's when you go from being a child to becoming a man, or woman, or whatever you want to be, who knows anymore in this life. For us it's different, I won't grow up to be a man, I'm going through puberty to become a wolf, I'll be a strong wolf, I'll be a warrior like my father and brothers, and sister. Don't underestimate my sister she's one of the strongest wolves in our pack, and now it's my turn. The brother of warriors Will, Sam and Moira, well Moira is more of a captain, she's higher in rank than our brothers and I look up to her, I want to be like her one day. But to do that I have to endure the shifting, I'll have to leave my parent's home and move into the alpha's place, all kids my age have to do it. Wolves are immortal and take our sweet time before bringing kids into this world, my siblings are old enough to be my parents not that we show, the whole pack look around the twenty to the thirty-year-old mark. Only the elderly look old enough to be in their forties, now although I'm going through my puberty being a hundred years old, I only look like I'm sixteen, I could pass as seventeen sometimes in the human world. After we shift, we'll get abs and muscles, and we'd be shredded, well it doesn't come so easily although I wish it does, after we shift we are worked down to the bones, and the alpha takes care of us personally training us until we become warriors people to be dependent on. You all heard the tale of us being submissive and dominant, that's true but we only submit to our mates, we submit in the bedroom, don't look at my rose cheeks, I'm too young for s*x anyway. But I was taught what it is and how it's done by my human friends, mom would die if she knows her son knew about s*x since he was sixty, that's wolf age to bring around ten years old. We're very possessive, protective, and conservative, it's like we never came out of the dark ages, but my human friends do help a lot, teaching me about this world. Right now I'm packing my bag to move to the alpha's home, I stood in front of the mirror to check my small body for the last time, I was short had curly brown hair that falls down to my shoulder and green eyes, I looked very cute and adorable as my human friends call me. "Seth are you ready little brother? You better make me proud, I want you to beat Sam's bum," Moira our sister calls to me, she's the one dropping me off at the alpha's home, I'll get to see my family of course, but Moira is one of my trainers as well, she trained my siblings and I might be her favourite. "Coming!" I say running out of my room, next time I stand in front of a mirror I'll be all buffed and strong, I'll be as dominant and strong as my sister and even if I'm a submissive, I'll still be able to be a strong wolf. "You look so good baby," Moira says twirling me around the room making me giggle. "Is that how you train them now Moira? By treating them like kids?" Will asks standing by the door. "None of your business, I treat my baby as I want to," Moira answers him annoyed, no one is allowed to mess with me with Moira being around. "Calm down mama bear, you need to drop him off at the alpha's place," Will says, Moira set me down on my feet fixing my clothes for me. "The first shift is always the worse but remember I believe in you okay?" She says giving me a pep talk before holding my hand and walking me off toward the alpha's place. It's time to say goodbye to the little freedom I had before, in the alpha's place there's no sneaking out, no getting away with anything, our two alphas are ruthless. Alpha Rowan and alpha Aiden are two of the most powerful wolves out there, although they hardly look like they are in their mid-twenties the two alphas are century old, and they believe in keeping on the old ways and rules, including training the newly shifted wolves themselves. "Okay, this is where I leave you baby, remember make me proud," Moira says hugging me one last time before leaving me in the front yard of the two alphas. It was me and three other boys, only us going through puberty and now it's time to face the music. Chapter 2 -Shifting. Seth POV. Once there we were guided inside by beta Emmett, our bags left behind, we were guided to the basement, not the best place to start but the safest. "Listen up, the alphas would be here soon, you'll be each taken to a private room, you'll strip and shift, the alphas are here to help you through it, it's gonna be painful, it's gonna take time, but remember we do this with pride," the beta gave us a pep talk before leaving the four of us standing there. Looking at each other with sad smiles we are friends, it's hard not to be friends with the only people who are in the same age group as yours, would all four of us manage to get through this, if our wolf isn't strong enough we'd die, if we can't shift now nor do we show any signs of our wolves, we'd die soon. Our wolves need to come out or we'd die, it's a really nothing major or scary, don't take our trembling bodies as sign of fear, it's freezing down here. "When we call your name come forward," alpha Aiden says going into the first room followed by alpha Rowan, they called the first name, Allin, the poor guy walked in like he's going toward his death. An hour of waiting later, alpha Aiden came outside, he called the next name, River. The waiting continued and I couldn't stand on my feet any longer, I sat down on the ground sharing looks with Kyler, we're next. "Kyler, we're ready for you," alpha Aiden calls him leaving me alone, I was the last to go. The fear had the best of me now, I felt close to vomiting, I wanted to cry and sob, maybe ask for Moira to come back in, she practically raised me, although she's a high ranking wolf she always made time to play with me growing up. "Little boy I've been calling your name," a voice says as a hand touched my shoulder making me jump. "So...sorry," I say shaking. "You're Moira's kid?" Alpha Rowan asks me. "I'm her brother," I answer him confused why would he think I'm her kid. "Yeah, that... let's go," he says and I looked at him confused maybe it's just my fear that's making me trip. The room we got into was clean, and empty just as cold as the outside, alpha Aiden was waiting there as well, they looked at me and I looked back at them, avoiding their eyes, you never look your alpha in the eyes. "Strip," alpha Aiden says in a cold voice and I look up at him with a blush, I never stripped in front of strangers. "I...I..." I start not sure what to do. "Strip Seth or I'll come over and give you a hand," alpha Aiden warns me, not wanting him to actually help me stripping I started to take off my clothes leaving my boxers on. "That too," alpha Rowan adds amused but I didn't want to take that off too. "I know younger pups are shy about being n***d, but we're your alphas, we'll see everything eventually, now strip," alpha Aiden says losing his patience with me, I took the boxers off looking down at the floor avoiding their eyes at all cost now. "Look at me," one of my alphas says and I shake my head no. "Look at me," he says again holding my chin in his hand forcing our eyes to meet. "I'm going to call to your wolf now, let him come in, then I'll try to connect to you, let me in pup, don't be afraid we'll protect you," alpha Rowan says his voice going as sweet as honey. "Be a good pup for us, we got you," he says again and something inside me starts to shift, I thought the first time my wolf is called forward would be harsh and painful instead my wolf was lured out with sweet talk. "Good job, now continue," the alpha says again, I felt myself stepping back letting my wolf take full control. That's when the pain hit, my whole body was shook with pain, physical pain that can't be described I felt a million needle going all over my skin, my bones breaking and my eyes going blind, my heart was beating insanely fast it felt on the edge of exploding any second now. "Let us in," the same voice says again and I knew all their sweet words and promises were lies, I didn't want to come out or connect to them. They forced their minds over mine, taking charge, going back through my memories through my thoughts, but not allowing me in on theirs they had access to me but I was denied access to theirs, I fell down on the ground feeling used, abused and in pain. Chapter 3 -Welcome. Seth POV. "Hey, baby, wakey wakey," I heard a very familiar voice, a voice I always connected with happy thoughts, Moira, my sister was here. "Hey," I say in a gruff voice, my throat was so dry like I have swallowed a million nails. "Don't tire yourself, Seth, I just came by to check on you, you did so well, I'm proud," she says making me smile, making the captain of the house proud brought happiness to my heart. I tried to pull my hand up to touch my sore head, it felt like a drill has went through my skull, making me whine and groan. "Hey, it's fine, I have to go, I bribed the beta to allow me in but can't stay long, I just had to make sure you made it," Moira says kissing the top of my sore head and leaving the room, the darkness called back to me and I closed my eyes going back to sleep. "It's time to wake up little one," I heard a firm voice says, but I ignored it wanting to sleep. "Sleeping time is over," the same voice says again, caressing my face, is Moira back? I think to myself. "No, I'm not Moira, she shouldn't be here," the voice says getting my eyes to open up, how did he know? "Welcome back Seth," alpha Rowan says with a smile on his face. "Back? Where did I go?" I ask him trying to sit up ignoring the pain everywhere in my body. "Up to the moon goddess and back to earth, the first shift is a trip between our world and the next one," he says meaning the first shift is a trip between life and death. "Get dressed, meet me downstairs," the alpha orders and I just noticed I was still n***d, maybe it was the headache that made me feel so weird and unaware of my surroundings. I got dressed in the clothes that were left for me these weren't the ones I brought from home with me, plain white boxers, sweat pants and a hoodie, no shoes. I wore the clothes offered and went down to search for the alpha as he has ordered. The beta was there along with Kyler, next came River and that's it, just the three of us, we're missing one, where's Allin he doesn't want to be late for the alphas. "Alliin won't be joining us, during his trip the moon goddess has claimed him as hers," alpha Aiden explains, he died, not all wolves make it through. "For the rest of you welcome to our home, welcome to our pack, you're now on the road to becoming adults, of becoming strong wolves," the alpha continues. "During your stay with us rules are to be followed, there's no sneaking around or back talking do as we say when we say it, and don't leave the house without our permission," alpha Rowan says. "We will know, and you will be punished," alpha Aiden continues. "Classes start tomorrow, today you can rest, the room you woke up in is yours, there's food in the kitchen for you always, hot water in the bathroom, but don't try to shift without us being around," alpha Rowan ends the welcoming speech letting us all go. "I'm going back to bed," River says heading back to his room and leaving me alone with Kyler, I turned to him, what should we do now I had no idea. "Food?" He asks and I nod, I don't mind eating.
