More than just a word

He sighed a third time, the cold of the night making him embrace himself as he gazed at the lights of the city. Everything was wrong, his life was not what he expected, it was without a way out, without options or alternatives that could help him. He turned, next to the table was the book he had read for years, approached him, his pulse was increasing, when he touched the base stopped breathing, then he asked his wish, could not see anything for a second, the book began to tremble but did not move his hand away, the book opened, revealing the answer to his request: Yes.  He smiled full of relief, his eyes closed slowly before faltering on the floor. Everything was over, finally.
