Did Hunter respond so aggressively because he responded to the wolf sealed away inside her?
Normally, I would keep my cool composure and not lose control of my wolf. However, I could not control Hunter for a while there, and that scared me. I would have killed Angelica.
"What was that about, Hunter? Why did you become so aggressive?" I ask my wolf.
"She cannot protect her human. I am our mate's guardian until she can release herself. Although she is angry with her human for forsaking her, she will still protect her. Her name is Raven, and she is a guardian. I need to listen to her. She was born from the moon herself. She is the last of the Moonborn wolves," Hunter says.
