Twins on the Run

"Oh, sweet mother of Mary and that is holy!!! Drake!!! I am so telling Dad!" I said, while rubbing the back of my head. The s**t hit me right in the back of my damn head with a rock!!! "why did you do that!?! What are you 6 years old again!" "Come on, sis, don't be mad... You just walked into the line of fire I was aiming at something else." Drake turned pleading eyes on his twin hoping she would buy his load of crap. It was almost their 13th birthday and getting grounded now would be even more embarrassing. Watching his twin take off, he run after her hoping to stop her in time.   Standing in the door of our large Victorian farmhouse, was a small man coming in at just over 120 lbs and 5'3. No one passing by would believe that this small man was in fact the Alpha of the third largest pack in the U.S. Alpha William was a good, honest hard working man who loved his family and though he had 8 strapping sons any man would be proud to call his; His only daughter Desiree had him rapped around her little finger. It didn't help that she was a miniature version of his beloved Luna either.  "Dad!" Slapping his hand over his twin's mouth just in time Drake turns to their dad and says, "hey dad, Desiree and I just wanted to know what we were getting for our 13th birthday! We promise we won't tell anyone!" "Is that really what you wanted Desiree?" William said, as he took a long look at his baby girl. Taking in her glare, flushed face and messy hair. Turing to Drake his youngest son before Desiree could speak, he demanded... "what did you do!?! If you hurt your sister I will make you do her chores, your choirs as well as doing double the training! You do not hit girls!" "No, daddy, Drake is right I just wanted to beat him in finding out that's all." I look at my dad hoping my calling him daddy will throw him off enough to let Drake off and maybe help find out what is going on for our 13th birthday.  "
