John gave Holly another look “okay, who are you?” “what do you mean?” “you are too interested in all this, you have been way too calm during all this, I’m the one this is happening to but even I’m freaking out. Then you brought out the g*n and don’t this I can’t smell the scent of garlic on you it might be faint but I can smell it just fine. So Holly Fraiser just who the hell are you?”

John took a step closer to Holly, with each step he took she took a step back. “what’s wrong with you all a sudden…” “don’t try to avoid the question who are you really huh… the bump at school was that really coincidence or all a part of your act as well.”

“what? No!” she pushed him away from her, “I just helped you save your brother from the people who were hunting him and now what? You are attacking me! How about a thank you for going out of my way. To. Help. You!” with that she stormed out of the house and entered her car driving off in a huff, with John watching her with eyes filled with suspicion.

The next morning in another house.

“Caleb get down here now!” “coming mom!” Caleb shouted as he rushed down the stairs arriving before a beautiful woman with flowing black hair. “Caleb what have I said about the dishes?” “leave them in the sink when I’m done…” Caleb spoke while putting on the most innocent face he could muster. “you…” she was suddenly interrupted by knocking, “I’ll get it” Caleb rushed to go open the door happy to get away from his mother’s lecture.

The door was open to reveal none other than Katherine, “well hello there.” She revealed a smile that would give one the impression, she was the kind lady next door. “erhm…do I know you?” Caleb asked the lady who was smiling at him, “not really dear, but I’m good friends with your mom. The name is Katherine”

“who is it?” Caleb’s mother called out from the kitchen. “mom, it’s a lady called Katherine… she says knows you” when she heard what Caleb said she rushed out to see her, “well hello Roselynn” Katherine spoke up immediately she saw her. “Caleb go to your room” “mom…” “now” “okay “ Caleb took another look at them seeing his mother’s serious expression and the smile on Katherine’s face before heading back upstairs.

“what do you want Katherine?” “he is a nice boy.” Katherine laughed when she saw the expression on Roselynn’s face. “don’t worry I’m not here for your son. You missed our last meeting.” “I was busy”, “what a shame…” Katherine sighed.

“our lord has risen” her words caused Roselynn’s eyes to widen and her body tense, “how…” “unfortunately it was only temporary, the darkness can not stay in our world without a host and even with one, his time is limited.” Katherine continued her words calming Roselynn a bit.

“That still doesn’t explain why you are here.” Katherine wore her smile once more, “With the day when the doors fully open just around the corner, I hope for all of us to be united for our coven to be united…” “you mean cult “ Roselynn cut in .

Katherine just laughed, “that is what I like about you, you’re honest you are different from Josephine. She just doesn’t know how to think for herself… caught up in the whole worshiping the darkness thing, but you’re different.” “you don’t sound like a devote believer of the darkness yourself.”

Roselynn spoke up when she began to realize something but Katherine did not respond but just laughed, “I admit I do have my own agenda but I do think every witch and wizard in this town is required to join us …” looking up at the direction Caleb left she continued “you are either with us or against us.”

Hearing her words, Roselynn could detect the threat hidden between and suddenly Katherine held her head as she received a migraine. “ DON’T. YOU. DARE. THINK. OF. HARMING. MY. SON!” with each word spoken the objects around Roselynn began to rise in the air. Katherine rose her hands in surrender “calm down, we all know you are powerful but do not forget I am still the leader.” With a snap of her fingers all objects returned to their initial positions.

Roselynn was stunned but before she could react Katherine had appeared before her and she was immobile, the smile which seemed to be ever present on Katherine’s face disappeared “I might favor you Roselynn, but do not, for a second take my leniency for weakness… are we clear?” with her question she looked deep into Roselynn’s eyes. “Good” her smile returned and Roselynn regained control of her body, “I’ll see you later today, and oh please don’t let me come looking for you again after all I have no idea what I might do…bye-bye” she then vanished leaving a scared Roselynn behind.

Unknown to both women, Caleb had heard their entire conversation and seen some of their acts and was now shocked.

In the Ashwood residence.

Jay had regained consciousness but wasn’t sure as to where he was, he only remembered losing himself the last night and nothing after that. He looked around thinking to himself that the place looked familiar but he couldn’t for the love of him remember where he was, he was happy though that there wasn’t a dead body around like the last time he awoke.

He tried to get up only to finally realize that he was tied up. He was stunned at first then began to panic, he tried to use his new enhanced strength to break his bondages but for some reason his skin began sizzling, just like it did when his skin came in contact with the sun.

The pain became unbearable and he began screaming. His screams drew the attention of someone who opened a door a rushed down the stairs. Soon the figure was revealed and Jay was stunned “John?” “hello Jay.”
