*thump**thump* the sounds of the soles of converse making their way through the woods sounded all to familiar as this was how his nightmares began, but he was determined to achieve a different ending. He could hear the growls of the beast it was catching up he decided to change his route randomly running through the wood hoping to loose the beast.   After a while he no longer heard the growls of the beast, taking a moment to recover his breath he leaned his back against a tree but soon realized it was a bad idea. The sky darkened once more, looking up he saw a flock of ravens and he knew he was f***** he turned around, behind him stood the beast on all fours in all its demonic glory. He decided to make a break for it but it pounced and unlike the nightmares it didn’t end there, it sunk its teeth right into his thigh causing him to scream out in pain. Grabbing a log by his side, he used his remaining strength to strike the beast on its head then proceeded to black out.   ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////   He woke up his bed safe and sound, after looking around his room and confirming it indeed was his room he concluded the past events to be nothing more than an extremely vivid nightmare. He proceeded to get up and prepared for school, everything was normal, you know daily routine when he noticed it….the huge bite mark on his thigh. His mind went back to that night and he realized the horrible truth, everything was real but that brings about another question how did he get home?   Quickly putting on his clothes he run out, calling out for his brother when he realized his brother did not come back last night, sometimes he didn’t get his brother, I mean who goes to a party on Thursday night couldn’t you wait to do it on a Friday night.   Sighing he went to school and spent the first period thinking about what happened, when he got out of class he finally saw Caleb. He moved to him and punched him in the shoulder with more strength than intended causing him to yelp, “how could you leave me last night?” John immediately questioned showing his displeasure, “it...it...it was creepy okay! When the fog came I couldn’t see anything, I began to feel like someone was watching me, I called for but you didn’t answer so I thought so I thought you were gone as well…”, “wait you didn’t see the lady?” “what lady?”   John proceeded to tell Caleb what happened last night causing Caleb to give him the ‘really’ look, John looked around making sure no one was watching them before dragging Caleb to a corner and revealing his thigh were the bite mark was only to be stunned when he saw nothing, his thigh was perfectly fine with no bite not even a scar.   John looked up at Caleb whose eyes seemed to be saying, ‘now what?’ he wanted to explain but then he heard someone call for his brother curiously he turned to the direction to see Kennedy, who was heading for him when she had a good look at him and realized he wasn’t Jay but rather John.   “Where’s Jay?” she asked, “good morning to you too.” “I’m not joking with you John,” John saw she wasn’t in the mood so stopped messing around, “what do you mean where is he, shouldn’t he be with you.” “Why would you think that?” “well he didn’t come home last night…” “wait what? what do you mean he didn’t come home? he left the party at ten.” Her words gave John a bad feeling especially when he seemed to be bitten at around that time.   Meanwhile in an abandoned warehouse.   Jay awoke with a serious migraine, “urgh…. Someone get the license plate.” Jay sat up looking confused as to where he was exactly. Finally making it to his feet he was wondering how he got here, wherever here was, suddenly a sweet fragrance entered his nostrils and he began to feel thirsty for some odd reason. He followed the scent temporarily forgetting everything and focusing solely on the scent, he finally arrived at the source but when he saw the source and remembering how intoxicated he was, he began puking his guts.   Jay couldn’t believe it, before him was a dead girl dressed in a tight fitting green dress and even worse he recognized her, Beverly but that was not drew his attention no…what drew his attention was the multitude of bite marks all over her body, on her neck, her arms and legs she looked pale almost as if the blood had been drained from her body. Jay stood there not knowing what to do when he heard it, “Jesus Christ!” he heard someone shout from behind him, he turned to face the person who turned out to be a homeless man, he began talking “it’s not what it looks like.” But then he realized that made him sound even more suspicious , he was about to continue speaking when unbelievably he could hear a faint beating sound which seemed to increase in volume with every passing second and along with it his thirst rose once again.   He looked the hobo in his and he must have been terrifying, because the hobo turned and run without looking back. The hobo run like crazy and soon arrived at the doors but before he could escape, something came out of from the side slamming him into a pillar, the thing moved faster than he could react but when he saw what or rather who it was his fear went through the roof.   He began to plead for his life but Jay was in some sort of trance and couldn’t hear him at all, all he could hear was the ever increasing heart beat as well as the blood flowing through the hobo’s veins, his eyes locked unto his neck. Jay opened his mouth to reveal his fangs and sunk them into the hobo’s neck reaching a new high as he suck his blood.   A few minutes passed before Jay regained his senses and horrified at what he had done he dropped the now dead hobo to the ground and stepped away from him, his fell on a mirror and stared in pure horror at his reflection, his clothes stained red with the crimson liquid of life, his eyes blood red with bulging veins and the most prominent, his fangs.   Jay refused to believe what he saw and decided to leave the warehouse but when he pushed open the door and came in contact with the sun rays his skin began sizzling and the pain he felt was unbearable he sped back into the shadows at insane speeds hissing at the door and all he could think about at the door and he could think about at that moment was “what’s happening to me.”
