Episode 20

Holly let go and put her g*n back in her car before rushing to the car which she was supposed to be in which had one officer who was knocked out. Jay seeing this, was absolutely confused “what the…” “I’ll explain later but you’ve got to go, hurry before they get back.” Jay hesitated looking as though he wanted to ask a question before deciding against it and speeding out of there leaving Holly alone with the knocked-out officer.

Holly slipped in by the officer locking the doors, took the officers pulse before pulling out a syringe and injecting the officer who groggily awoke a few minutes later with no memory of her knocking him out earlier with a syringe.

He turned around to see the girl he was supposed to take care of was still seated there with the doors still locked. He sat there confused as to what had actually happened to him until there were beams of light coming out of the woods and a few minutes later. Lindsey along with her men had arrived obviously being unsuccessful with their hunt but managing to save a boy.

Holly watched the Officers carry Chad out as an ambulance arrived minutes later and took Chad to the hospital. Holly made her way out of the car after the officer had unlocked the doors and went straight to her aunt who looked absolutely pissed, “what is going on?” she asked her aunt, she of course knew the truth but she wanted her aunt to be honest with her for once, unfortunately that didn’t happen.

“There was an animal attack, boys got scared led to an accident.” As she said that Holly eyes shifted over to the bodies that where being brought out of the woods terrified at what John was capable of. *snap* she was brought out of her thoughts by her aunt with a snap, “*sigh* I think it’s best you go home for the night, it’s dangerous out here, maybe I can come with you…” “no” Holly cut her off, “I’ll be fine on my own.” “are you sure I could…” Lindsey tried to argue but was stopped by Holly “I told you I’m fine”, with that Holly got into her car and sped off.

“you okay?” one of the men came over to her side, “yeah… I’m fine. Get some officers to the hospital I want to know what saw out there.”

Holly had arrived at the boys’ place, rushing into the home she began to call for Jay who called back from the basement. In the basement, Holly saw Jay who now had a new shirt on chaining his brother in silver chains, “what…where…did you?” “oh, the chains, yeah I grabbed them on my way back thought they would burn him or something but, nothing” Jay spoke in his cocky tone with an obvious hint of disappointment.

“wait, why do you sound disappointed? Don’t tell me you actually wanted to burn your brother?”

 “what. Me. no! I would have stopped if that actually happened, maybe…probably”

“you know you sound less and less convincing with each word “.

Holly and Jay shared a look for a moment before Jay spoke up, “doesn’t matter, point is he’s fine and locked up so no one gets hurt for the rest of the night now unto you why were you in a cop car with the officer knocked out.”

“that’s not important.”  Holly spoke up with a tone that clearly said she didn’t think it was, “you in a cop car, with an unconscious cop, hmm let me see… yeah that sounds important.”  Jay spoke up tilting his head with a cocky grin etched on his face. “I don’t want to talk about it” Holly said as she turned to leave, “but I do” Jay sped before her ripping a necklace she tried to hide under her shirt.

She attempted to grab the necklace back but with one look from Jay her eyes gained a blank look and she was still like stone. “hmmm, so it was the necklace let me guess you put some vampire equivalent of wolfsbane in this”, “garlic” Holly responded in a monotone voice.

“wow Garlic”, Jay took a sniff which caused to cough out, “well I guess that’s it for garlic bread then. Now unto pressing matters why were you in the cop car.” “my aunt placed me there” Jay rose a brow hearing her words. “and pray tell who is this aunt of yours” “the sheriff”.

Jay paused at her words his cocky expression disappearing being replaced with one of anger as he grabbed her throat and began squeezing, “you’re telling me your aunt was the woman after me and my brother this whole time, and you said nothing! How do I know you haven’t been helping them this whole time?! Such a coincidence becoming close with my brother the day after all this happens! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!”

Holly struggled to breathe and regained her senses attempting to escape Jay who had now gone full vamp, “Jay… please…. stop…I can …. explain…” she pleaded with him, struggling she reached into her pocket pulling out a syringe filled with garlic and stabbed it into his arm, forcing him to let her go as she grabbed her necklace and raced out of the house leaving a screaming Jay on the floor.
