Marcus and his partner had been patrolling the town the whole night, they had received orders to hunt down a vampire but they had found nothing. They were tired and were about to call it a night, for all he knew it might just be the witches pulling some sort of diversion drawing the council’s attention away from themselves.   “Aaaaaahhhhhh”, a shrill scream was heard. The officers rushed to the source only to arrive before an alley. They stood at the entrance with their guns loaded with wooden bullets, *tap*tap*tap* rushed footsteps were suddenly heard followed by heavy panting, both officers had their heart tighten they were about to face a vampire.   They had gone against the witches countless times but thus was different, this was a monster, a blood sucking demon of the night. There were countless myths all around the world, all telling just how deadly these things were. At that moment a figure came out of the dark, it was a lady, her clothes and hair were a mess but what caught their attention was the fear present n her eyes. Marcus placed his g*n down, moving to comfort the lady, “hey, hey listen to me. Look at me, it’s alright tell me what happened.” The lady on the other hand was unresponsive she just kept shaking looking behind her.   The officers followed her gaze and widened their eyes. “Run!” Marcus shouted for the woman to get out, she bolted immediately, before them stood the vampire. The vampire had blood red eyes, with black protruding veins running from below his eyes down to his neck, his fangs out in the open for all to see, his clothes were covered in blood and it didn’t take much to know he had just finished feeding.   Marcus’ partner let of a few rounds but the vampire just… disappeared n the midst of Marcus’ confusion he heard a loud snap. Marcus slowly turned to the side just inn time to see his partner’s body hit the ground, he tried to aim at the vampire but he was slammed into the wall just as the vamp was about to sink its fangs into his neck another shadow slammed into it.   John had been searching for Jay but had no luck in finding him. John stood atop a building trying to find something but nothing, his golden eyes glowed in the night as he searched around. Just then he heard a shrill scream, at that moment John had a gut feeling that Jay was there.   John was moving from rooftop to rooftop at speeds he didn’t think possible, if he wasn’t worried about Jay right then he would be enjoying the feeling. John arrived just in time to find Jay about to sink his fangs into an officer, he jumped down wasting no time to push Jay away. Jay’s back slammed into the police car, as he struggled to his feet John had a good look at him. Jay was bloodied all over but John could smell that none of the blood was his, Jay’s eyes were blood red, he had black veins rushing from below his eyes down to his neck and his fangs out in the open but the most disturbing to John was his smell, he smelled like death. “Jay snap out of it!” John talk his brother back… but it was a futile effort. Jay sped and crashed into him, John was stunned by Jay’s speed he was fast but this… this was a whole new meaning of speed.   John regained his bearings right in time to fling Jay off him. John instinctively entered into an attack stance and began growling, he felt his canines grow as well as his nails morph into claws. Jay hissed in response, at this point John realized there was no talking Jay out of this and the only way to snap him out of it was to beat it out of him. Both brothers rushed at one another and began to attack one another, the fight shifted away from the alley and into the main street when John gained the upper hand and managed to land a solid right on Jay’s jaw.   Jay took off immediately after realizing it wouldn’t be easy to take out John, John was ready to give chase when Holly arrived with her car. “get in!” John just stood there, his confusion clear on his face, “just get in!” John opened his mouth to comment but he heard the faint siren sounds and decided to get as Holly sped off.   A minute after they left Lindsey had arrived with her officers just barely missing the fight. Lindsey moved on to question Marcus about what happened. Marcus narrated the entire encounter from meeting the lady, meeting the vampire, the vampire killing his partner, the vampire almost killing him, the unknown creature which saved him, the fight and both creatures fleeing the scene.   Lindsey was first pissed that she had lost one of hers to the leach, then curious about the mysterious new creature, then annoyed the barely missed them then finally worried abut how many more creatures were hidden in town. Lindsey had too many questions, what was the new creature? who helped it to escape? How long had it been in town? Just how many more things were hiding in this small town?   After some deliberation Lindsey picked up her phone and dialed a number, “we have a problem.”
