Unexpected Feelings

Javier was standing was standing outside the residence with his other mates chatting happily. Uncle Leo, who was Mr president's trusted protector, called them inside for a meeting. They all went inside to the meeting room and the president was seated down with a distressed expression. They were all ordered to seat down, when they were seated, Uncle Leo greeted them in a respectful manner and began telling them the reason they were having this meeting. " Mr president here asked me to call you guys, because there is something he would like to discuss with you." finished talking and sat down while the president was getting up. " These past few days, I have been receiving some threatening messages from private numbers. When I ask some of my IT's to look at who it was coming from, unfortunately they couldn't find anything." He paused for a second and continued..." These messages threatens me step down on my seat or else my only daughter is going to suffer the consequences. We all know how much I love my daughter, Katrina... And how I would not like to lose her, right? " Everyone else in the room nodded. He walks around the room and began to say..." So I've decided to choose one of you to be her bodyguard. I want you to be with her wherever she goes making sure she's safe." The room that was deadly silent began to became slight noisy. Uncle Leo quietened them down and let the president continue. " I want someone with potentials and strong abilities. A person who is brave and willing to sacrifice his life for someone, a person who is brave. " he looked at each one of the men that were in the room. There were 15 men in the room and Javier was the youngest. When Javier heard the news, he became excited as all he will do when he becomes his daughter's guard, is to look after her. He didn't see anything hard in this job compare to his current job right now which was giving him a lot of problems with some of his partners he sometimes work with. He wished he could be the chosen one even though the chances are 0.1% to get this job, as he was the youngest and always looked down upon. " I will make my decision later on today and make an announcement tomorrow morning. You may be dismissed." he sat down and speaks to Uncle Leo while the men were walking out. Everyone was was looking forward for tomorrow, they were all curious on who the president is going to pick. Everyone had names of in mind of some of the men who were considered strong. Javier was walking with Liam talking about what the president just said. " yoh, imagine dude walking around with a beauty next to you?... I will totally lose my mind bro." Liam said with thrilled tone. " Mhm." that was Javier's only reply. Actually he didn't even care how she looked like at all. All that was in his mind was how easy is the job going to be. Javier wasn't paying attention to what he was saying at all, he only hummed when Liam asked a question that only needs a yes or no. Meanwhile, Katrina who was busy walking around the clothing store looking for something to wear, spotted a dress that caught her attention. She pulls her friend's arms and ran towards it. She picked it up and placed it in front of Valerie to see..." What do you think?... huh? beautiful right?" her soft pinched voice was heard by a saleswoman who was standing not far from them began making her way to them. " Mmmh... It is not that bad..." Valerie was only joking, she tilted her head and closed her eyes half way to take a close look at the dress. Upon hearing her answer, she frowned and looked at the dress..." What do you mean it's not that bad? This dress is beautiful, are you deaf in the eyes?" Valerie laughed off and said..." I was only just joking. You are right, this dress is indeed beautiful. " she touches the dress and feels it's fabric. " Oh my... And it is made of a great comfy fabric. " Before Javier could say anything, the saleswoman was already in front of them and said politely..." Do you want to try this on ma'am? I'm sure it will look better on you." Before Javier could reply, a lady came up to them claiming that this dress was hers. " She does not need to try it on as it belongs to me." the lady said feeling highly of herself. The saleswoman has seen this before, where two or more females arguing about something like this before. She quickly said not wanting to cause any quarrelling between them... " I'm sorry ma'am, but this lady over here has already got it in her hands already." pointing to Katrina who held the dress tightly in her hands..." You can't take it away unless she doesn't not want to buy it." As soon as the saleswoman finished speaking, Katrina hurriedly said with her arrogant tone and showing an attitude to her..." Which of course I will buy it." The lady stomped her feet in range." This dress belongs to me! I was planning on buying it just now, when I received a call which I took." she glared at Katrina with flames in her eyes. " Well how stupid you are?... You shouldn't have taken it along with you idiot." Katrina was purposely picking up a fight. When Isabella hears the stubborn lady calling her i***t, smoke started coming out of her ears..." You b*tch! " she yelled and wanted to hit Katrina when the saleswoman stopped her. " Haha, wow! Why are you angry at me for saying the truth that you are an i***t who doesn't think?" she stood there feeling proudly of herself. Valerie had already seen through her intentions. When Katrina is bored, she always tries to pick up fights with random people. That was one of her bad habits. She knew that she is the daughter of the president of the country and if some crosses her paths, she will make them suffer. She actually careless about people's feelings. Only people close to her are the only ones she cared about, even though sometimes she fights with them. So when Valerie saw what Katrina was trying to do, she pulled her arm back..." She had never got this kind of treatment from anyone else. How dare she disrespect her like this in front of people. She began to get teary. Isabella is actually the daughter of a president from another country. She only only there because her father came for a business trip and she didn't want to stay alone with her strict mother, so she begged her dad to come with. When she got here, everything was going fine and she begins to love this place. But seeing how badly she was treated by a stranger she didn't want to stay there any longer. She took out her phone and called her bodyguard. A few seconds later, her bodyguard was already by her side. " This lady is insulting me!" she complained like a baby to her bodyguard. The man that was standing next to Isabella was very tall and had a big body which made Katrina shriek. The man looked at Katrina with a terrifying face..." Young girl, do you even know who she is?" his voice was scary making everyone get goosebumps. Katrina continued with her arrogant and stubborn appearance..." I don't care, but do you know who I am!?" She knew Isabella's identity and knew that it was not someone who could be easily provoked. Otherwise that person was going to suffer a lot. " What about my dress?" Isabella cried out loud when she realized that the dress was taken away. The saleswoman hurriedly and said..." Don't worry ma'am, we have another beautiful dress for you that is actually our limited edition." Hearing the ' limited edition ' , Isabella got convinced right away and demanded to see the dress. When Valerie saw that they lost them, she heaved a sigh of relief and looked at Katrina sightly angry..." Katrina! next time you should know who you're dealing with otherwise you are going to be in a huge mess." Katrina frowned unhappy." No! people should know who they are messing with before I make them suffer." " Well just make sure you're not messing with a big shot that is has a higher status than you. " Valerie knew that Isabella's identity was higher than Katrina's. so she was just trying to warn her for next time she lands in another situation like this. " pfff, I don't care. It's not like my father isn't going to back me up." she said looking at the clothes in front of her. Valerie didn't want to argue with her anymore, she she just let her be.
