Riever POV Office. Now. Being awakened by a command from my father was probably the worst way to wake up. Waking up in the arms of my mate, however… that I could get used to. Miya stirred when I rose and opened one eye, glaring at me of all things. “I have to go see father,” I said, quietly. She groaned and rolled back over, pulling my blanket over her head. She’d fallen asleep on top of the covers, and I’d let her rest. I’d taken the time to alert her family that she’d be staying, and that she’d won the first of the trials, then put a throw blanket over her.
