The problem with ‘kind of sort of dating’ the alpha-to-be of a pack that included my newfound friends was that word traveled fast. Saturday morning, I spent most of the day in bed, my stomach rioting against me. I needed to hunt, but that didn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. At least, not until this stomachache went away. All the while, I was being assaulted with well-meaning texts.
