Riever POV I had been nervous before. I had successfully cut a deal with my father, giving myself a chance to be with Miya, but my father's voice had brought forth some doubts in me. Was it worth it? After all, Miya was human; would she ever feel the mate bond as strongly as I did? Would she return my feelings? Could a human make a good Luna? The fight told me everything I needed to know.
