Twenty-SixA few hours later, Jake pulled up onto his driveways as the first spots of rain began to fall. The summer's afternoon had darkened, a warm breeze blowing in from the sea. Looks like thunder, he thought as he pressed the key fob for his Nissan. It beeped twice as he headed towards the kitchen door, two shopping bags in his other hand.
