Vicky. Jake's mouth hung open, his eyes staring off into space. Jasper. The Watcher. He read the message again as Wilf's grey hair littered the tiled floor. By the time his hair had been finished, Jake had re-read the message a dozen times, a sinking feeling settling over him. “It can't be,” he said quietly as he clicked on Vicky's profile. There was limited information on her feed, with only a few photographs on show. He clicked on a family picture, turning the screen horizontally to get a better view. His eyes fell on five people, closely packed together. Arms draped around each-others, the scene happy and loving. He looked at each family member, working out quickly the ones sadly departed.
