Love in Room

--- *VIKK'S POV* I came home at 9 AM. The whole night I was out with my friends, just riding my bike around the city. That's my freedom. Now I was dead tired. I thought I will rest for just 10 minutes in my room, then take a bath before the guests arrive. Today is the big festival lunch at my house. I lay down on my bed, still in my jacket which smelled a little like smoke. My eyes closed. I didn't realize when 10 minutes turned into 2 hours. I woke up with a jerk and ran straight to the shower. Just then I heard loud voices and laughter downstairs. Are the guests already here? Two families were coming today — Hana's family and Veen's family. I haven't met Veen in a long time. He always used to wait for me, scold me, and take care of me since we were kids. The house was already full. Even from my bathroom, I could hear everyone. I took a quick bath and came out. I was in just a towel, selecting clothes, when the door opened. It was Veen. He froze for a second, then blushed and quickly looked away. He came forward and selected clothes for me himself. "How are you?" he asked. "I am fine, how are you?" I said. "Okay," he replied. I quickly changed and went out to meet all the guests. I was looking for Hana. My mom said, "She is in that room." As soon as I saw her, I hugged her tightly. We were meeting after a long time. Then Veen also hugged Hana and asked about her well-being. After that, we all sat in the hall and started talking. Then it was time to eat. Me and Hana were sitting together, Veen was sitting on my right side. After dinner, I went outside to smoke. Veen came there after 2 minutes. I asked him, "Will you also smoke?" Although I know he doesn't smoke. --- *VEEN'S POV* Today is the festival. The whole family will have lunch together at Vikk's house. It's been a long time since I saw him. I know he is still the same — free, everyone's favourite, never stays at home. We are related, I have known him since childhood. But I am possessive about him. I don't like it when he roams all night and doesn't care for himself. If anyone else did that, I would get angry. But with Vikk, I can never be angry for long. My mother said, "Veen, go early and help them." I was so excited. I got ready quickly and left for his house in my car. When I got there, Hana and her family had already arrived. But I wanted to meet Vikk first. As soon as I heard he came out of the bath, I went to his room. I felt my cheeks turn red when I saw him in a towel. It's a good thing he didn't notice me blushing, otherwise I would have been so embarrassed. I selected clothes for him because I knew if he selected, it would take forever. Then I asked about him. He quickly changed and went out. He didn't see his dear sister, so he went to meet her. As soon as he saw Hana, he hugged her. I felt jealous seeing this, although they are brother and sister. I can't stop my jealousy. After that I also hugged her, and then I hugged Vikk. When we were sitting in the hall, Hana and Vikk were sitting very close. And during lunch, I was so happy when I got to sit on Vikk's right side. After lunch, Vikk went out. I knew he went to smoke because he can't smoke in front of all the guests. Within a short time, I also went out to keep him company. As soon as he saw me, he asked, "Will you also smoke?" Although he knows I don't smoke. I just came to be with him. --- *HANA'S POV* I am going to meet my brothers today. This is going to be so much fun. It's the festival lunch, and finally, the whole family is getting together after so long. I was really excited because I knew both of them would be there. When I reached Vikk's house with my family, the house was already noisy and full of people. My aunt told me, "Vikk had just come home in the morning and has gone to take a bath." He does this every time — comes late at night and then sleeps the whole morning. I am not interested in all this family gossip about who got married and who is doing what job, so I quietly went to another room. I thought, "I will just sit here until both my brothers come." Veen hadn't arrived yet either, so there was no point in sitting outside. I was just sitting on the bed, scrolling my phone and playing games to pass the time, when I suddenly heard a familiar voice outside. It was Veen. He and his family had just arrived. I could hear his voice from the hall. I smiled. I know Veen very well. I know that as soon as he comes, the first thing he will do is go and meet Vikk. He always does that. He cares so much for Vikk, more than anyone else in this family. So I thought, "Let them meet first, I will stay here." After some time, the door of my room opened. It was Vikk and Veen. As soon as I saw them, I stood up. I was so happy to see both of them together after such a long time. Vikk immediately came and hugged me tightly, like he always does. Then Veen also came, hugged me, and asked, "How are you, Hana? How are your studies going?" After that, we all three went outside and sat in the hall with everyone. I intentionally sat very close to Vikk because I wanted to tease Veen. I was sitting almost sticking to Vikk, and I could clearly see the jealousy on Veen's face. His expression was so obvious, like he was thinking, "No need to come so close to him, he is mine." It was so funny that I couldn't control myself. So I secretly took my phone and messaged Veen, "Bro, everyone can see your face, please act normal. You are looking too jealous." He saw the message, took a deep breath, and tried to sit normally, but he was still looking at us. Although I know the truth. I know that Veen likes Vikk, not just as a brother or cousin, but more than that. And honestly, I fully support him. I always tell him that he should approach Vikk and tell him how he feels.
