Kate MorganKate felt the words that Louise spoke. “I know what you mean, Louise,” Kate said. “With Adam... now that I’m a mother, I feel like I’m a different person.”
Louise nodded. “I’ve noticed that.”
“Have you?” Kate asked with a smile.
“There’s this confidence about you. An aura, if you like. One that says, ‘don’t mess with me, I’m a mama bear!”
Kate laughed. “That’s exactly how I feel. I used to just go with things and do whatever people told me I should do. But now, I make big decisions. I think about how it will affect my son. He’s the center of my life.”
“I think you’re very strong,” Sarah said. “Motherhood has a way of bringing out all our strengths. I can certainly see it in you.” Sarah smiled.
