I wake up with a terrible pain in my body every time I move. Still, in a haze, I slowly get up to see the commotion that has woken me up. The first thing I see is the back of pirates gathering around at the captain's tent. From my small makeshift tent, I can distinguish their gloomy expressions that tell me something is off. The sun hovers on the horizon, indicating that it's still early in the morning. I squint my eyes and drag myself toward the pirates. “What's going on?” I ask the pirate beside me. He looks down, blinking the tears forming in his eyes. I stare at him in disbelief. My mind can't believe what I see. And this time, I'm so sure that something that I don't want to imagine is happening. “Captain Arkean,” he says in a low voice. It's just a name, but it's enough
