Chapter One Prologue
In 2075 AD, humanity finally solved the interstellar jump flight and began a large-scale extraterrestrial migration.
In the same year, the Earth Coalition Government was formed.
In 3012 AD, the Earth Union Government changed its name to the Human Cosmic Federation.
In 3045 AD, due to excessive use and waste of energy, the Earth became uninhabitable and became a death star.
In 3046 AD, the Human Cosmic Federation abolished the death penalty and introduced the Felony Exile Act, making Earth the preferred place of exile.
In 3085 AD, dissatisfied with the corruption and bureaucracy within the human cosmic Federation, as well as the a***e of human rights, a group of low-level young soldiers launched a military coup attempt to overthrow the current government, the coup failed, and all the survivors of the coup were exiled except for a few fugitives.
In 3202 AD, mankind encountered the first extraterrestrial civilization without preparation, and since then the human Federation has officially entered the stage of interstellar diplomacy, and mankind is no longer alone.
In 3257 AD, humans developed the planet Mongart and established the Mongart Colony, extending the power of the Human Federation to the border between the Kanlan Empire and the non-German Federation for the first time.
In 3317 AD, due to the diplomatic contacts between the Human Federation and the Kanlan Empire, the non-German Blue Federation invaded the Human Federation after careful planning, hoping to annex the Human Federation to achieve the purpose of reducing the power of the Kanlan Empire from the west.
In the same year, the Kanlan Empire passed the Law on Strategic Alliance with the Earth Federation, and the Kanlan Empire began to send volunteers to the Human Federation to intervene in the war between the Human Federation and the non-German Blue Federation in a brief way. The Ten Years' War has officially begun.
In 3327 AD, the Ten Years' War ended and a peace treaty was signed between the Human Federation and the Non-German Federation. But the system of centralization within the human federation, formed by war, was further expanded, and the bureaucracy and corruption were further expanded by the advent of peace.
In 3336 AD, in order to suppress dissenting voices and doubts from within the people, the human federal government launched a harmony policy, through the "Network Management Regulations", stipulating that all network users must be forced to install a harmony software called Green Dam girl, which will harmonize all the "Network management Regulations" by various means.
In 3342, government corruption and inaction were so rampant that, according to the Federal Security Service, 2,000 terrorist plots aimed at overthrowing the current government were uncovered in the various spheres that year.
In 3345 AD, a group of junior officers hoping to change the status quo, led by a former military elite named Jai, attempt a coup d 'etat, but the plan is revealed and Jai escapes alone. All the officers involved in planning the coup are exiled, and thousands of people are affected and deported, including our poor protagonist.
The following year, the Kanlan Empire made a carefully planned invasion of the Human Federation, and the Human Federation government was defeated within 50 hours of the start of the war. The Human Federation became the 51st sector of the Kanlan Empire. And the protagonists and others are forced to take an unusual path.
"I'm not afraid to tell you, but I'm recruiting some paramilitaries." This is what the fat man, who claims to be terror tycoon Luo Ping An, tells me as he touches his proud handlebar moustache. At the moment, Luo Ping Ping is more like a drunk than the rumored terror tycoon.
"Paramilitary recruitment? Do what? Help you train terrorists?" I said sarcastically. As a notorious terrorist tycoon, Luo Ping Ping recruited paramilitaries for purposes that are reminiscent of terrorist attacks.
"Don't you think the world needs a change? The citizens of the former Earth Federation fought so hard and sacrificed so much in the war waged by the goblins of the Kanlan Empire, and yet lived as third-class citizens." Just as I was guessing how Luo Ping And would answer, he did not care about my sarcasm and sarcasm and directly changed the topic.
"What does that have to do with you recruiting military personnel? Did you change s*x? Intend to incite the regular army to rebellion?" In disgust with the terrorists, I never gave up the opportunity to be sarcastic.
However, the other side completely ignored my questions.
"Have you ever seen a dead man? Especially starving children. Have you ever seen people who rely on feces every day to survive?" When he said this, I was surprised to find that I could actually see a trace of sadness in the eyes of the guy who claimed to be Luo Ping 'an in front of me, although this sadness had to be blind to see how false.
"I've seen it, the lifeless, desperate look. Bureaucracy, corruption, and the misallocation of social resources, on the one hand, the goblins of the Blue Empire feasting and wasting hundreds of resources every day, while on the other hand, the poor citizens of the former Earth Federation were living on the brink of death, with large numbers of children dying of malnutrition at birth. Some people grow up without a full meal at all. Have you ever seen the unarmed men who charge the army's heavy machine g*n positions like rabid dogs for the blind and impossible slogans of the goblins? Have you ever seen people blindly sacrifice themselves as guardians of the so-called ideals of some goblins? And while they're at it, what are their leaders doing, the goblins who incite them? Holding a beautiful woman around your waist, drinking millions of dollars of wine, they call it taste, they call it enjoyment. And I've seen it all before. This is the reality of the so-called democratic society of the Cumberland Empire."
"I thought that what I was doing was going to change something in the world, but no, when I came home at the end of the Seven Years' War, I realized that nothing had changed. The hungry will always be the hungry, and the mob will always be the mob. Before the war, none of the benefits the Empire had promised to the citizens of the former Earth Federation had been fulfilled. That's why I chose a different path, one that might help this country change. So when I found out that you might become my comrade, I decided to take some risks and talk to you alone."
"I am against terrorism, which solves nothing but pain." I answered this way, but I was very clear that my words appeared so pale and weak in front of Luo Ping 'an, of course, this is just for show, in fact, I am a terrorist at this moment.
To tell the truth, ever since my parents were killed in the ten years of war, I have lived with my grandmother in a slum of former Earth Federation citizens who have not been annexed by the Kanlan Empire, and I have lived a life of hunger and cold, and every day I can see people arguing and even fighting for a meal or two. But that one or two bites of food might get you through the day. My grandmother and I, who I could say had little working ability, subsisted on the meager pension from the government. However, this situation did not last long. The meager pension from the government soon ran out. In order to support the family, my grandmother had to get up early every day and walk five miles to work in a factory. The pay was very low, and I went to work for people in an underground factory.
When I was sixteen years old, my grandmother finally died of exhaustion, and two government agents in black suits showed up at my door and sent me to military school, simply because my late father was a colonel in the Union Army, which made them more qualified to train a lower class of social elites than any other civilian.
The children of the elite are rarely admitted to military schools, because they have been taught from an early age that the military is a lowly profession and a bargaining chip in the game of political struggle, except for military families, of course, so the vast majority of military schools are the children of voluntary or involuntary former Earth Federation soldiers of so-called mud legs.
To be honest, in terms of training military talents, the government can be said to have spent a lot of money, and the hardware and software facilities of the entire military academy are absolutely comparable to those of noble schools. Students can even choose their favorite tutor to study separately.
At the same time, in order to ensure the quality of students' learning, the school will engage in battles and tactical skills once or twice every semester to determine the skills of the top students, which is to form a competition mechanism within the college, but also to stimulate the upward psychology of students.
It was in this learning situation that I got to know Jay. In fact, I didn't know much about Jay himself, only vaguely knew that he had participated in the ten-year war. After the war, most of the people who joined the army with him died arrangements only he survived, and then he obeyed the arrangements of his superiors and came here.
And I chose him as my mentor purely because of his 10 years of service to the nation. Because I wanted to learn something that was practical on the battlefield, not just something that was in a book.
The truth is, all I know about Jay is that he doesn't trim much, he drinks well, he likes women. God knows how he got a tutor position in the military academy. According to the evaluation of him in the academy, that is: wrong.
And Jay never talks about his past, even if you deliberately find the opportunity to ask, he will deliberately find a topic to change your attention, and by Jay's way you can easily be diverted by him.
In the three years of getting along with Jie, what he gave me the deepest image was that he always liked to say to me with a kind of intoxicated eyes after getting drunk: Jingze, you are so elegant, it is a pity that you are not a woman. It's a shame I don't have a bisexuality. Then he would look at me in the same way a man looks at a woman. That feeling gives you goose bumps just thinking about it.
Okay, I admit that I do have a pretty good look, white skin that some girls are jealous of, black hair that is soft enough to make some women scream and dizzy, in order to make myself see that it is not a woman. I never let it more than an inch long, and, finally that no matter how I eat will not put on weight. Sometimes I even secretly cursed God for forcing me to look like a woman when I was clearly a man.
